Your audio is distorting BIG TIME. I own the V-6 series. I think the LAV that came with the UWP lack bass a little. Had to buy another LAV and the results are much better.

I must add, the audio clipping / distortion I meant is from the LAV, not from your camera's. Use the attenuation feature. I bet your transmitter was lighting up the red LED every time she spoke.

@formaset You're right, and I've figured out why. It's the compression done by the Nikon D7000. Others using this camera for video have reported distorted audio. Thanks for the feedback!

@fernandop1 The beautiful thing is, the lav receiver is sitting in the hot shoe mount on top of the Nikon D7000. The hot shoe mount is included when you buy the Sony UWP-V6. It's a sweet setup.

Oh, the D7000 does NOT have an XLR input. 1/8" mic input only.
