@datboyalister AMEN!!! However them together did create a different feel! Thumbs up to the Rolling Stones for giving birth to a classic and thumbs up to Dr. Dre for doing what he does to an already great song!
the rolling stones were never good??? possibly the most ridiculous comment ever made on youtube. boomboom, i suggest you begin remedial music education immediately because the depth of your cluelessness and ignorance is beyond remarkable.
@TheBoomBoomBlast well, I'm going to have to disagree with you on that. Dr. Dre doesn't hold much talent because he can touch a few buttons and make a masterpiece sound different, the stones have musical talent and put this song together, i dont see dre writing any ground breaking songs like they did
I think this remix speaks both to the timlessness of the music of the Stones and the apparent genuis of perspective and nerve that Dr. Dres represents and presents! Intriguing and "bad ass" on all levels!
Why change a good thing.. ? If you are should't it be better than the first..? This sucks just saying.. vidio and the stupid stuff they did with the music
@stina8236 I happen to enjoy both versions and so do thousands of others who listened to this. Why change a good thing? Because maybe you can lead younger generations to the Rolling Stones by having a nice hip-hop beat and remixing the classic jam. Is that so wrong? No one cares what your opinion is of it, don't make such a selfish comment like that and maybe appreciate all good music like a normal human.
@MegaCheezyWeezy Isn't he!!! He put an amazing spin on this song, its as if this song speaks to an entirely different audiance now> I can't stop playing it!
sick! Its hard to come across really smoothe remixes that fit but I must say that this is one of them---this and those beatles remixes floating around would be enough to seranate a really cool party.........................
@lump0lard 'old skool' = Dr Dre cos he's not one of the newer bandwagon jumpers 'older skool' = RS because they basically invented rock & roll and 'mint' = excellent (as in mint condition) hope that explains it
Idk why people complain about the song....You obviously searched or saw it on homepage. Never the less YOU clicked it and listened to it. If u dont like it....dont listen to it.
I guess you're wrong about this holding up for as long as a year or more because it's now 2010, three years later. Only an idiot such as yourself would type in a song he doesn't like on youtube to bitch and moan about it. Sometimes i wish the internet wasn't anonymous so people would be less inclined to spread stupidity.
You sound like an idiot. So it's just black's that can't create music or dance anymore right? Nevermind Ke$ha or Beiber or all of these teeny boppin white kids. Someone always has to make some shit about race. If you can't open your mind long enough to share an interesting point of view then keep that dumb shit to yourself. And these beats are not what's keeping blacks back you idiot, there are far more pressing issues within the world that hold back many races.
I am going to focus on the music and try not to insult people along the way. The Rolling Stones are one the greatest bands to come from this era. This song is a perfect example of how they were able to mix rock and roll and the blues and create this incrediable song. This is a great remix because what made this a great song is intact but now it is a club/dance song. Mick Jagger's voice flows over this funky beat. This beat pushes the song into an area it has never been. A great remix.

What kind of dum kiddy thinks this is creative? Anyone can push a button and get a prefab beat. There is nothing original here in any wayl. This is what is keeping blacks down. We keep giving credit for nothing. Blacks can't create music any more and we keep rewarding them for pushing a button. Heck they can't even dance anymore!
what the fuck is this moron doing to this 70s classic but even sadder is the tool who said great beat. its a computer you idiot, poor charlie watt would be sad to hear this travesty and i cant see mick giving his ok to dr dre to butcher this. what dr dre does is limited by machines, any person can make a machine song not a real song with real people playing real instuments. cant see this type of shit holding up in 1 year let alone 40 yrs.
@bluespig1 narrow minded chump... Dr. Dre is one of the greatest music producers of all time, not just in hiphop, in MUSIC.. and if rolling stones as a band plus lawyers and shit didn't say ok to this he would not/could not do it.. and just so you know so you don't talk shit another time, Dr. Dre and every other classic hip hop producer is using live instruments used by people, the computer is "just" for mixing, it's called rytmic music like jazz and so on. Btw. GREAT beat and song, hiphop lives
@bluespig1 this version of Miss You is actually on one of the menus of the ROLLING STONES FOUR FLICKS DVD SET. I believe on the "Theatre Show" disc. (Paris) So get a clue, maybe? Sounds much better on the DVD tho.. youtube kills quality real well...
