i saw this when it happened on TV and i was like "i hope he's ok" and my sister laughed..and i was like dude wtf is your prob?its not a laughing matter
he got spooked by the advertising signs near the finish line that were never there before. thats why he ran away from the rail and was trying to stay away from those signs cause they were new to him
THTs SO TRUE!! THroughbreds just love runing n going fast its what they were bred to do and they love it!!. IF they didn't love it then they would just buck the jockey of well basically sayin F u. Plus Throughbreds mature kinda quickly cuz if they didn't then they wouldn't be able to ride them! Plus breakin in takes a while so they have to train the horse for bout a yr so its not like their rushin things.
his ears aren't flat back and just cuz a horse's ears are back does NOT mean ANYTHING!!! it just means that their attention is behind them. I've ridden plenty of horses who have had their ears back but yet were still really happy! Its not a horrible barabic sport its only certain ppl (trainers and owners) who would give tht impression!! Those horses are well taken care of and have the best of everything. Just out of curiosity where did u take a course on horse phsycology?
I totally understand.. yet i am defending YOU who was told by that fuzzle person who "supposely knows EVERYTHING about horses just cuz she took one course in school." she dosnt know anything about horses unlike u and me. so im was just sick of it and got her attention to go away. exept like u said in an inpolite way. but im not gona look at unnessary comment fuzzle left...so i had to say something.
Horse racing- it's an odd subject, isn't it? I personally don't approve of certain trainers, I've seen horses who simply don't want to run physically & mentally injured by irresponsible jockeys. On the contrary, some horses are obviously 'in their element' on the track.'Ears back' generally means fear or anger, but many horses flatten their ears simply in effort to go faster. It's just a few trainers who ruin the sport for those who actually give a damn about the horse's health.
Oh, I like this one too. Made me cringe, but it was done well. I don't care for chariots of fire, but I never liked that song. I have a new video up, just a fun one because I was bored, you should check it out :-P And return the favor I'm doing you. lol
hahaha it wasn't us. Has fuzzle hung around with horses? I don't think so, laid back ears mean way more that a POed horse. Look at dressage horses, that's nearly the natural position of a schooling dressage horse. It's the "gimme a sec, I'm working on it" look or the "what the heck was that? I'm outta here!" look or the ever race horse classic "You think you can beat me? In your dreams" look. And, occasionally, its the "oh boy! the barn! Food!" look X-D
That's amazing!! he's a tough dude!!! poor guy!

He spooked at a person working in the infield. Stupid, ya know? But the stallion had a history of being eccentric toward things unfamiliar to him.
