@MRmagnatron Magnetron is spelled as such, regardless at one point in my life I was going to take a broken microwave, remove the magnetron and basically create a portable ray gun. I was foiled by my father who caught on to what I was building.

I suppose you could not build this and throw erasers at each other and have yourself a grand ol rubber tosser event, but just doesn't quite have the same impact.

if you stick some sticky tack under the paper around the pin head you dont need to use the eraser. sticky tack can be substituted for gum (even easer to get at most schools)

we do that, but we put the gum inside the paper and take a staple and make it straight and stick it through to where it goes through the gum and the paper and sticks out the front, we throw them into the ceilings.

The fun thing with these is once you have the concept down you can totally experiment with the materials. I've gone so far as using balsa wood and a hypodermic needle that I had from my diabetic cat. That was a scary dart.

i found that if you use a smaller pin and use gum to hold the pin in you have a more accurate dart

also if you make the fins flat oin the top you can have a nice precice fly
