You're entitled to your opinion. But the original, to me, is far more impressive. With the full band behind the song it has a dynamic quality full that suggests the spectrum of the soul. It swells the heart. This doesn't make me feel anything but disappointment. :D
I don't think any version is necessarily "better". They're both very amazing, different interpretations of a beautiful song. That's what is so great about music :)
Though she has a beautiful voice and it is quite sentimental, I like Miike Snow's version better. Just because her voice is deeper doesn't make it better, there really is no emotion just the struggle to keep it deeper. Miike Snow's version has a bittersweet tint to it. As someone who has never heared the original and as someone who likes Sky's voice but hates most of her horrible pop songs, I think she knocks it outta the park on this song! Her voice is too unique for the direction she's going, she's like Adele meets Joss Stone she could be huge but she needs better songs like this!

I agree,she has an awesome voice and the way she turn the songs into her owns is soo great,but you can't say it's better than miike snow's version,both of them are great,sky is an adorable single artist and miike snow are ia incredible group,they're doing it in completly different ways and with a conpletly different feeling..
whatever,she IS beautiful and she sings it so well, i do love this

Sky Ferreira's version is awesome. The lyrics didn't really get to me in the original but this is intense.
If you think Miike Snow is a one hit wonder you must have missed their songs "Silvia" and "Burial". Big hits in Europe, don't know bout US. Two of my favorite tracks of the year.
