I did this for affiliation and the ad showed up and everything but, wordpress added something to the code to make it so when you click it it leads you to the wordpress site and not the ad. Please help!
@iguitardude2744 Hi, thanks for the question. Are you using a free blog from Wordpress [dot] com? If you are, they do not allow ads. Let me know and I can try to hep you if you are using a self hosted blog.
@iguitardude2744 I see...yeah, sorry it only works if you have it hosted at another host, not Wordpress. I would check out HostGator, that is who I use. They make it easy to install and get running with Wordpress, without all the restrictions. If that is something you want to do, I would move your domain hosting over to a domain host like NameCheap and just re-point it to your new host.
@chinigerian Yes, on the free Wordpress site, you cannot have banner ads. If you check out their Advertising section in the support area, it gives you some alternatives. The best thing to do is go to Blogger if you want a free blog, they allow banner ads. If you want ads on Wordpress, you have to purchase your own hosting.
This is Atahualpa, it is free.
