  • The question is: "Can Supes be beaten?" The answer to this is, Yes. So, given enough time, Batman will always win. In a straight up fight to the death, in a spontaneous fight, Superman could beat anyone. But that isn't a realistic scenario. Bats always manipulates the situation to his advantage. He would do this with Supes, and win. Always. Batman always wins. If you're pro-human, you're pro-Batman.

  • batman always stops superman so proves that batman wins all the time

  • Batman always wins.

  • superman if he had his krytonite suit

  • @supermancisco his kryonite suit always gets like ripped some how lol so i could not count on it batman would still find away to stop superman

  • Well, DC do show Batman coming out on top MOST of the time the two have fought.

In Superman annual #3 from 1991, Batman actually kills Supes. It was a story set in a possible future, but both characters were equipped as they are normally in the regular DCU, so I regard that as being the closest we'll ever get to an official "final" answer... since DC are never likely to permanently kill off either one in the mainstream.

  • Very true. Any time the "kill" Superman or Batman, it's always a marketing ploy with the full intention of bringing them back.

  • I agree with P00P0STER0US . Nanananananananaaaa.....Batman!!!!

  • Batman has kinda been repalced, in batman beyond by Terry McGinnis

  • As cool as Batman Beyond is, it's sort of off-continuity. It occurs in a universe where Barbara Gordon is never paralyzed... or if she is, she is inexplicably cured by future medicine long before becoming the post-modern Commish of Gotham PD.

  • true, it is based about 40 years after the main batman continuity, keep geeking out dude.

  • Mur-didily-erder

  • I'm perplexed by the random Simpsons reference.

  • i agree, even smallville suffers the kryptonite bs every episode

  • I suggest Batman is the greater superhero for the following reasons:

    1) He's human and he's had to overcome these human faults to be something better.

    2) He's intelligent and 'designed himself' if you will, and his ability to create new machines, weapons, and defenses makes him more adaptable to a changing situation. He can use his humanity to deceive his enemies.

    3) His fallibility aids the public in remaining essentially self-reliant and not surrendering all action to a demigod.

  • Well put.

  • Batman is Human and has a lot of real life issues. Meanwhile, Superman can spin the world backwards and reverse time... so yeah.... and apparently I heard the reason why they drew tights on him was because he was supposed to be like an acrobat. jumping and leaping and flipping over skyscrapers. But then they realized "flying" would be WAAAAY cooler.

    BATMAN for the win!

  • I think I actually mentioned the acrobat thing on one of the earlier episodes of "Geek Out". Clark was definitely a trend setter back then.

  • i think batman is the better character because he is obviously more easy to relate to not that every human saw their parents die but he is more human . .. plus he has better villians in my opinion . .. but in a krypton-less fight there is no reason superman shouldnt win but i wanna know how could batman gets the krypton out before superman stops him . .. i dont know who win on an equal playing field though . ..

  • How does Batman get anything out when he needs it? That damn belt is like Felix the Cat's magic bag sometimes.

And Batman has a buttload of kryptonite in the cave.

  • yeah but he always keeps an ounce in his belt, just in case, lol

  • I never thought about Superman growing in the midwest and that's why he was always mister nice. So OK

Otherwise I can't help you with your geek out. Maybe some body else can, like maybe that girl Stacy.

    Regards

  • Oh, Stacey's no help here. Her husband, on the other hand, can go on for about as long as I can on this topic.

Not so much an issue of needing help as I'm interested in people's opinions given the evidence presented.
