golf 4 V5 Motor mit Sportluftfilter Sound

so ein billiger Filter liefert keine mehr PS. Durch ein freistehenden Sportluftfilter verbraucht das Auto mehr Benzin und die Leistung sinkt gleichzeitig wenn der Motor seine Betriebstemperatur erreicht hat. Im Winter ist es nicht ganz so schlimm aber im Sommer bei 30°C merkt man ein Leistungsverlust. Man muss normalerweise Rohre verlegen vom Filter damit er direkt die kalte Frischluft von drausen bekommt und nicht die aufgeheizte Luft vom Motorraum...

Hab jetz 200k km drauf, wurde nciht einmal gewechselt. Drosselklappe ist sauber wie Neu.

Hmm wieso hatte ich nie solche probleme?

@SelfmadeEndbossS Schau mal : watch?v=hEK7POxpVeE Das sind 5 Zylinder in linie. ich denke du weisst was das heisst. Der gleiche Motor wurde auch in Amerikanischen Rennserien eingesetzt. Den kann man auf bis zu 730 ps hochzüchten. Nochmal zum mitschreiben: Das sind PS Zahlen bei denen normalerweise nur V Motoren bz Motoren mit mehr als 6 Zylindern ;)

The V5 170ps AQN is a VW typical VR5. The first 6 cylinder built by VW were VR´s and they were called VR6. For the reason that nobody knows whats the meaning of the "R" in "VR" , VW decided during/ after the Golf Mark 3 to rename the "VR" engines in "V" engines. But they still were "VR´s" , the V5 too.

The AQN / V5 170 PS was engineered by VW and not by Audi. The AQN were not put in any car built by Audi. Thats the reason why you can´t buy a AQN engine with an Audi cover, only with VW.

R stands for Reihe in German, which translates to inline engine, as opposed to a V engine. VW just wanted to say it's a crossbred between a V and inline 5 or 6 cylinder engine.

If the "5" was referring to the valves, it would be 5V, like on the Audi V6s. It's actually a 5 cylinder engine, but it's not a V5 or inline 5. I guess you could call it a staggered 5. Look it up on Wikipedia.

sorry mate am a machanic and i have worked on them. they hav 5 valves to a clynder. 2 inlet and 3 oulet. its not the shape like v6s and v8s

there exists a 4 cylinder 20v motor, but what we can see in this video is a 5 cylinder 20v motor, that was engineerd by audi and later also put into vw-cars.
