  • A bit strange to call it a Colonial mojo. Since its from 1814 and from the British Army who took a revolutionary french song called Ca Ira and made it into a fife and drums version called Downfall of Paris after they conquered Paris.

  • @wijse First, it's Colonial Mojo, not "a" Colonial Mojo. Second, it's called that because my "corps" is called Fife Mojo and this event was held at Colonial Williamsburg. Third, none of this has anything to do with the name of the tune. Fourth, you might recall that the word "colonial" has other meanings besides the one that applies to the country and time period you are apparently referring to.

  • Look at us being all "hot stuff", except for me lookin' all caveman. I think I started air-fifing the second run through because I..well, I came to my senses and realized it's insane to play this thing twice under hot lights.
