The reason people say Guitar Hero is harder is beacause, Well. Guitarists spend up to 7% of their lifetime just playing guitar, If somebody spent that much time on Guitar Hero first he'd be one HUGE lowlife and second, He will master anything withing a year of playing, You can never master guitar beacause there are way to many things you can do.

I don't really see the point too much myself anymore, at least guitar hero, but there are some great games out there. I just don't think you should dismiss them all because of GH, but vgames aren't for everyone :/.

Guitar Hero is only a game, but for those of you who play songs on expert, you know how some songs can make your arm really hurt. Playing guitar hero has made me able learn downpicking,alternate picking, gallopping etc much faster, because of the time spent strummin that god damn plastic bit up and down. I also find myself ablo to play songs like Battery by Metallica much easier on a real guitar, even though i've played guitar hero for about 3 years and real guitar for 2.

I have been playing REAL guitar for over a year now and about the same for GH, but playing For Whom The Bell Tolls is so much easier.
