  • You people are haters just because you can't cook great like this person here if you don't like it don't make it again. But I'm going to try it looks good to me. Great video by the way:)

  • @MsLynn1979

Heh yea there's always the token trolls out there.

  • thank you

  • Delicious! Another winner.... Divine Chef Rocks!!! :))))

  • @nursewithapurse

WOOT WOOT and now over 1,000,000 views!

  • What's up with that music?

  • @TheHoth1

    I don't prefer silence :)

  • @divinechef

Did you try the BBQ ( or roast ? ) goose from the Southern Chinese cuisine ? I'm not talking about the Peking duck.

The dumplings with a little broth inside also taste really good, it's a cuisine from Shanghai.

  • @divinechef I also notice that you use rice nodles to make this, but in your pork lo mein video you used egg noodles & had to make a little more sauce (an extra tbsp of hoisin sauce). So which noodles do you think is better to make lo mein with?

  • @CJL1290 I prefer rice noodles

  • @divinechef How does Hoisin Sauce effect the taste, & What is the best brand of Hoisin Sauce?

  • @CJL1290

Hoisin sauce is an Asian bean paste that adds Asian flavor, best when cooked but also can be used with sauces and is also popular with moo shu pork. Koon Chun is the best brand and can be found in Asian markets. HTH.

  • Yummm !

  • Chinese food is sooo good. Glad they serve us in U.S.of A. You can get full and still have plenty left. I'm eating leftovers. Sesame chicken, yellow rice with veggies, and eggroll. So good right about now.

  • why add cooking wine? what 's the purpose?

  • @xendlesssLOVEx

Cooking with wine, like drinking wine can add another dimension to a recipe. Cultivating and enhancing flavors while accentuating textures are the main incentives for adding wines to recipes.

  • what else can i use other then cooking wine ?

  • @omar7074

Use white wine chardonnay, just a little or just omit the ingredient.

  • @divinechef thats the hole thing i dont want to use wine of any sort. i hear some say sesame oil ?

  • Garlic and Ginger in a Wok, I could live with that smell all the time.

  • Lo Mein is my favorite chinese dish! Omg, I want my mom to buy a Wok, and the ingredients I need to make Chicken fried rice and Lo Mein!!

  • @Toxic581

When buying a wok purchase one with the thickest steel. Do not wash with soap after use it will prevent sticking. The one I have is over 30 years old :) Thanks for watching and I hope you make lo mein!

  • Very good videos. Please posting more videos.

    Thank you very much.

  • if i was shopping at walmart or another grocery store for some of the asian ingredients such as the laifen and the hoisin sauce would i be able to find these iteams?

  • @brownwario

I don't know I've never shopped for groceries at WalMart and there are about 10 Asian markets near my house and the nearest WalMart is like 8 miles away. Thanks for watching.

  • Im so hungry :P

  • I love Lo Mein.... YUMMY

  • Aw I love the cooking noises. :( Either way, great vid! I love chinese food!!

  • OMG Thank you for being one of only a had full of ppl who actually put the right ingredients in your lo mein! Most of everyone else was making either egg noodle stir fry or chow mein! IT LOOKS FREAKIN GREAT! hungry hungry

  • @DangerousGirlzAssoc

You're welcome. Of course rice noodles need to be used in lo mein! Thanks for watching.

  • @DangerousGirlzAssoc

You mean everything except the fish sauce. That one is Vietnamese, not Chinese.

  • ::heating up egg rolls now::

  • @MrRwab

Nice! Egg rolls or wontons will go great with this lo mein. Thanks for watching.

  • love mine with jumbo shrimp great video

  • What Epic Chinese Food search wokthefokdotcom

  • Great video, one question though. Should I soak the rice noodles before I boil them?

  • asians can make a chicken taste like an oranage but cant make flying cars? ok i see how it is

  • mmm never had any lo mein dish before but this looks delicious. Oh how I wish my Wal-Mart (where I usually grocery shop) had more asian cuisine ingredient available for sale.

  • @JTuesday777

If you don't have anything close to Asian markets you'll have to find ingredients on the Internet, I suppose. Use Koon Chun sauce if you can get it. Thanks for watching.

  • @JTuesday777 go to any asian market to buy those ingredients,,,one like CAM ASIAN MARKET

  • @zanjaya1 Thanks for trying to help, but do you have any idea how many Asians reside here in Central Florida? Like ZERO LOL (compared to other parts of the country), so there really are NO Asian markets or communities that I know of. It would be different if the subject were on any kind of Hispanic or Haitian or Jamaican etc market. I guess if I would like to make this recipe I'll just have to get certain ingredients online. Thanks anyway.

  • Whats the track in the Background?

  • @robinsonroberte

All tracks are identified at the end of my videos. Thanks for watching.

  • What is LAFEIN rice stick? what do i use it for?

  • Are the veggies optional? I don't eat veggies, lol, except mushrooms.

  • @vDEATHxSTROKEv

Yes make without veggies, I have :) Thanks for watching.

  • @superkute545 Cooking wine will bring the chichen some extra favers. It will make chiken smells good as the classical chinese cooking theory is to make food : look good, smell good and taste good.

  • vegans=gay

  • @onyxelite312 You = retard.

  • @youboon thanks :)

  • A good way to cook chicken breast is : 2 eggs spageti sour cream chicken b. mustard peppers

Make a sos of sour cream, eggs and mustard, fry some pepers in the pan, boil your spageti and then cut the breast in smaler pieces, put them whit the pepers, cos' they cook realy fast, Note, you are going to need a deep frying pan, put the spageti with the pepers and chicken breasts and then put the sos over it, combine it a while.... there you have it, a delicius meal :D

  • I've made a vegetarian version of this since we were low on money and we had alot of tofu. I tricked my bf into thinking it was chicken because of the way I cooked it, when I told him what it was he was shocked lol. I think I'll make the real deal after watching this

  • this was so simple! Thanks

  • this doesnt look very good

it looks salty n unbalanced with flavor

    on to the next one

  • thumbs up if u LOVE Chinese food

  • @superkute545

No you don't but it's used to make the chicken tender. Thanks for watching.

  • @divinechef is there a substitute for the wine?

  • Fish sauce in CHINESE cuisine?! -.-'

  • Fish Sauce on chicken??.. -_-

  • Can u make a Vegan lo mein please?

  • @xxxxSOSEXYxxxx

I work with this guy who's wife persuaded him to eat Vegan so all he was eating was tofu and fake soy products which increased his estrogen levels and now he has Moobs! :D Thanks for watching.

  • @divinechef Haha Moobs lol. There's so much more to eat than just tofu and Soy products. There's a lot of ways to get your protein besides meat.

  • @divinechef Im allergic to shell fish products , so i cant use oyster sauce. Any substitutes??

  • @BlackSkullz09

Check the ingredients for the oyster sauce it just may be oyster "flavored" sauce. Otherwise you can omit it and add a bit extra hoisin. Thanks for watching.

  • @xxxxSOSEXYxxxx

This food is for MEN (and women I guess) you vegan PUSSY

  • @vikingWindmill Did I ask you fuck face? Mind your own fucking business aSsHoLe!!!

  • @xxxxSOSEXYxxxx

And what are you going to do about it? Stuff some veggies in your pussy? Tree shagger...

  • @vikingWindmill Haha cute...you wish you knew what a pussy looked like off the computer screen.

  • @xxxxSOSEXYxxxx

Haha that's cute. You think you're successful in life and brag about it in front of the screen. But in reality, you're just the regular lazy slob.

  • can i use spaghetti?

  • @daydayhyphy

Yes you can. Add noodles over meat and veggies, stir gently so you don't break them up. Thanks for watching!

  • dose any one knows what kind of oil is in the pan?

dose it matters what kind of oil it is?

    thanks

  • @musictech84 normally, vegetable oil...

  • @nobracobra

  • do you have to marinate the chicken

  • @kcberto

No but your chicken will taste more plain. Thanks for watching.

  • so yummy !!

  • OMG YUMMMM thank you

  • very simple thanks

  • I know that they sell boneless skinless thighs at the markets where I shop can those be used?

  • @Tentomon23978

Yes these can be used. Keep in mind thigh meat is dark meat and takes longer to cook than white (breast) meat so that's something to consider.

  • can u use chick en thighs to substitute for chicken breast?

  • @Tentomon23978

Yep if you can properly prepare chicken and cut them like the breast. Chicken thighs usually have bone in so you'll have to do some good butchering. Thanks for watching.

  • NIICCCEEEEEE ... o.O

  • Hi. Great recipe, quick question though. What's the serving size for the given ingredients? Thank you!

  • @izoebig86

Thanks. About serving size it depends if it's an entrée, for this recipe as an entrée I would say it's for 2 people. As a side 4 people. Hope this helps and thanks for watching.

  • Very good thanks. :-)

  • I tried this... but i didn't have oyster sauce...so i just put soy sauce... i also added black pepper and some distilled vinegar... and it was aweeeeesomeeeeee!!!!..

  • @mgdudz

  • @divinechef Thanks for the reply...i'm talking about the last sauce that you put in before you sprinkled the mung bean sprouts.

  • @mgdudz
