  • Its very easy to see why brass players adore Bruckner: he pushes them up front musically for all his movements and gives them plenty to do musically shine.

  • that was very excellent overall! if i may say so, there are a few things you can work on to help take it to the next level. specifically, the tuning of the bass trombone part on the last phrase. the low f is sounding a bit sharp, and there was an entrance that was not together around the beginning. also, just sitting correctly can help fix a lot of air and technical problems.

  • @basstbones I totally agree with this. Posture is everything. BUSFOF! back up straight feet on floor! =P That way you have a clear airway and it will even make it easier to play. Profit

  • Amazing...even w/out the necessity of the tuba :)

  • This is...amazing. It sounds so epic :D!! I love being a trombone player!(:

  • I can see why the Bass trombonist is sitting like that, in some ways it does make him sit up more?

  • @swear1down1blud Well Charlie Vernon always crosses his legs when he plays and he's one of, if not the best, bass trombonists on the planet

  • @swear1down1blud You remind me of my music teacher. That's what my music teacher says all the time, the brass section and I do it all the time in orchestra, but I guess that's because we're all girls.

  • wow this sounded so... good 0.0

  • @swear1down1blud He is a bass trombone player. Therefore, he can do whatever the hell he wants. It is the unwritten rule of bass trombone players.

  • @swear1down1blud good thing you can't hear when legs cross....

  • "that's it?"

    lol

  • Marvelous job fellas.

  • Missing the tuba :( Sounds awesome though

  • I like brass because you have the power of being so noble and to create such strong statements. I play piano, but if I was a horn, or trombone player I would spend my days in the forest playing Sigfried's horn call

    hehe

  • @skellez83 haha, i've wanted to play some calls (especially Sigfried, even on the trumpet/cornet) in the forest but i've never had the guts!

  • Great sound guys!! I want to join you with my horn!!

  • sounds fantastic. how old are you guys? you look pretty young.

  • Nice one ;)

  • that's pretty damn sweet! good work guys!

  • A Tuba on the bottom would be a great add on to an already great sounding section!

  • thanks for removing my comment

  • Great! It was interesting to hear this part alone without other instruments.

  • Wonderful guys!

  • Nice

  • sounds great!

  • very nice.

  • No Tuba :(

  • Just a mobile phone...

I'd hate to hear it in person. Ausgezeichnet!

  • It's a compliment folks. The use of sarcasm apparently doesn't translate well in a comment block all the time.

For those that don't get it, if it sounds this good with a mobile phone camera, it would sound GREAT in person...

  • lol i got it, it's sad that you actually got a -2 for that. youtubers generally aren't the brightest :)

  • That's for sure!

I just caulked it up to a language barrier.

  • BRAVOO!! MUY BIENNN!!

  • MOAR!

  • Bravo!

  • just awesome.

  • more video.excellent job

  • wow..

evertime i hear that or play, it just gives me chills...

  • Very nice; unison notes were nicely in tune. Give us more. Wunderbar!
