brock please write back if you can, but what was the original music you had on this video, i remember watching it on your blog last year. something along the lines of 'nobody knows' lalala or something in the vocals, its been plaguing me. please respond if you have the time! (also i love the third year films how many of you worked on each film? )
@burnerboy It was called "Nobody Does it Better" by Carly Simon. Thanks very much for the kind words! Each film had a team of about 10 people. Some had a few more, some a few less.
Demon Kitten, I'm in the same boat as you as well! Sheridan is totally amazing. I applied about 15 years ago and man, what they require was totally high standards. I ended up going to Art College to work on my art skills first before I can apply again to Sheridan with a better portfolio and a much better understanding of the requirements. Anyway, good luck and let us know if you do get in!
I DREAM/HOPE/BEG to get into Sheridan, the works are fantastic! I wish to have that kind of skill!! I practice everyday, and even though my friends and teachers say I won't have a problem getting in I am sure they just don't understand how complex and difficult it actually is :"""( OH GOODNESS I DREAM to get in!! T____T I'll find out May 2010 if I'm in or not!
Hey, do you mind posting some of your stuff? 'cause I'm planning to take animation myself at either centennial or sheridan (hopefully sheridan) but i was planning to take something else while i was at school so i didn't have the privilege of asking my art teacher if i was good enough for animation. I would love to see some of your work for reference to know if i need more work on my skillz. Oh, and hey, from one hopeful to another, i wish you good luck on your application! =3
thanks for posting this man...great thing you did for all of us...haha themusic..great choice...says it all...amazing work everyone..3rd year stole the spotlight this year
Another day, another funky job well done, baby. Well put. There's a lot of great stuff here! The 3rd year films definitely seem to get better as the years go on. I hope that trend continues.
they're all class projects. We were split up randomly into groups of about 11 or 12. We then had to come up with a concept and story everyone could agree on, and then make a short film.
wow the 3rd year films sure have gotten a lot better since I was there, stupid cell animation:(

Ah my old alma mater. But I went there for my business program. Sheridan has a very good arts program.

I think it's safe to say that presently for me, you guys impress more than CalArts does. You're definitely at par with Gobelins right now...

These are films that you actually worked on? I'd like to see "The Delirious Journey of Ethan McKearney".
shanejensen 3 years ago
The only film I worked on was "The Celestial Ox". I'm just proud of our year's work as a whole, and wanted to kinda showcase it in one spot.
karsica 3 years ago
Are these films that are going to be on the market, or just class projects only?
shanejensen 3 years ago
