So, the next day she would have had thousands of emails all from Twitter; thus she thought she did something wrong. (and there's the possibility of mobile phone messages, though I seriously doubt she had that enabled.)

I'm sorry but found her annoying, ungrateful and whiney, like the whole experience was such a burden for her, poor girl getting all this attention. I for one will be glad when her 15 minutes of fame is over.  I wish I could be more supportive of her but she makes that hard.
