I do plenty o' drugs but I never tried smack and crack for obvious reasons. This film should be shown to all children to show them the grim tragic realities of heroin abuse. The direction and performances are stunning, it's one of those one-offs that can never be replicated and everyone involved fades into relative obscurity (apart from king Bowie obviously). One of it's strengths is showing how a tab of Acid or a toke of reefer is a whole other world to the horror of 'H'

jest fascynacja Cristiane odkąd chyba ukazała sie ta historia. sama zakochałam sie w jej zyciu, jak pierwszy raz przeczytalam ksiazke, bo wydawało sie takie wolne, szalone bez zakazów itp taa.. zawdzięczam jej to ze sama zatrzymalam sie przed herą, bo chciałam byc taka jak ona. I wiem, ze nie tylko ja tak miałam, "dzieci z dworca ZOO" mają w sobie cos zachęca co do tego "pierwszego razu"

@nikita70 Yes, isn't it funny? Few would argue that Christianes life is getting better and better in the film/book and to be a H-addict is something to strive for... But still, it is something very tempting with the whole story. Strange.

Osobiście mnie bardzo poruszył los tej nieszczęsnej dziewczyny, ale nie mogę tego uznać za fascynacje. Po prostu moim zdaniem jest ona przesłaniem dla następnych pokoleń, a może ktoś kiedyś dzięki niej powstrzyma się od tego pierwszego razu, a może tragizm jej historii uratuje kilka, kilkanaście a może nawet kilkaset młodych istnień?
