  • Thank you.

My banjo does not have a slot for the hoop to loop over. It needs a thimble.

Where do I get banjo strings that come with thimbles? What are they called?

    Thanks!

  • Thankyou so much for taking this slowly. I had my 5 string banjo restrung in a shop. They put the 5th string the wrong side of the pulley and when I began to play it sheered off the small cleft peg through which the string ran. Wish I'd thought to look here first. I just replaced that peg with a small brass round head screw and hope this is not a terrible mistake. Many thanks to you again-Peter

  • get to the point man

  • Thank you.. very clear instructions.

  • This was very helpful - Thanks!

  • I'm confused. A pckg of strings comes with one marked L10 and one marked L11. I wound up putting the L10 as my 5th string and the L11 as my 1st. Is this correct?

  • Great video!! I didn't have any idea how to do this for my first time and this was explained very clearly and was easy to follow. AWESOME! THANK YOU!!

  • Other videos I've seen tend to skip over how to "lock" the string in place, which has always been my problem. It is my problem no more. Thanks!!

  • I wish you'd have shown the fifth sting.

  • it is the same as the 3 and 4 strings.

  • Thank you for sharing your banjo stringing technique and your beautiful banjo
