i got the game for Christmas. i unlocked the director's cut yesterday. the game gets a lot harder at that point. & the first gun you have SUCKS!

anyway, its a good game

House of the Dead Overkill gets very hard, almost old school gaming hard. You only get a few continues in Director's Cut mode and once they're gone: Game Over.

Best guns, in my opinion for the game are the Uzi's and the automatic shotgun.

just a challenge mode, you basically play smaller missions

r the missions like several objectives or r they just like "kill 5 waves of enimies and survive"

There are unique objectives, but there are aslo some 'kill these guys' missions. There are parts where you make barricades, or you have to hack a computer. In regards to 2 player mode, your friend can join you in the story mode OR do the challange mode.

I've got a Wii and a PS3 and I'm going to get this game. Playing horror games at night, with the lights off and the sound up (or headphones) is definitely the way to go!

I loved the original Dead Space on the ps3. This one is a must buy for me, but I'll have to wait till Friday to get it since I had to take care of other things and I'm pretty much broke at the moment. I agree with you. The way you play a video game determines if it's enjoyable or not. I like to play horror games at night with good sound and action games during the day. The visuals do look pretty solid and the sound is great. Nice video man.
