Those questioning a link between Nisargadatta and Nitynananda should know they didn't live far apart. Ganeshpuri and Mumbai are a taxi ride away. As Nityananda was a huge presence, his presence would've been known to Nisargadatta. It is entirely possible that Nisargadatta had Nityananda's darshan. Likely he's referring to this in the quote. He doesn't say he was his Guru. Spiritually, Nityananda presented "I Am That" to me in meditation. The very next day I went out and found it at a bookstore.
