I don't like the end. So, she does a "good thing" which is saving the guy, then what, she dies? That's lame. She could have lived and done other "good things". Besides, the whole thing him being better then her is then even proved at the end when she sacrifices her life for him. THey should have made more out of it. @Ridaeon the ending was better than the original (which is swedish). in the end, after all the trouble they went through, the guy died in the end and annie went to prison (willingly). he led her all the way back to the hospital, after frantically trying to save himself from dying, just to tell her to shut off his life support. it didn't make much sense to me. this makes much more sense.

At the beginning of the movie he turned down sex with his girlfriend because she insulted his father's watch. Same way he wasn't interested in peeping at Annie. The only actor who really blew me away was the girl. Nick was adequate, Pete sucked, Marcus sucked, Marcia was horrible as usual, and the cop was just plain bad. That's why I hated the ending. Calling this movie a love story is probably a stretch. I just didn't get that type of vibe from it. I give this movie a 5.5/10. I was really glad with the way this movie turned out since the trailer led me to believe this was a mystery which would've been bad taste.

But the ending played out perfectly, because she died to save his life and she didn't have anything to live for due to all the shit she caused, so why not be remembered for something good... and not something bad. I kinda don't like Justin Chatwin's acting because he kinda just keeps the same expression on his face so it doesn't suit his character very well at some scenes, but besides that I always cry when I see this movie.
