mr. campbell dis is beautiful i get tired of how most of the band is caught up in marching so much this is how you become a better musician, and band as a whole
The whole piece is great and you can catch Eric Ewazen discussing each movement on Youtube. I'm playing it now, and the piano accompaniment is a bear...my wife is my accompanist...I owe her big time :^) Nice job...keep up the playing. Have fun w/ mvmt 3!
i do not really agree with your interpretation of the piece but never the less, that's not important. you did a very nice job! please, continue posting!
I think this is my favorite movement in this sonata. I like it so much because it has so much emotion written into the music. that being said, i think you could do with a little more emotion, and as Bachstrad95 said, be more aware of your dynamics. Otherwise, very good playing, just remember to EMOTE!!!
Very nice job. It's a duet with the Piano so you need to be more aware of your dynamics and intonation. I felt that you were above a mf the whole time and didn't have any pp or p in your playing. You need to also breath more. It will help you out in the long run. Take time with the ornimants.

Well done on this piece. I'm playing this at the moment. When i heard it i literally fell in love with it (well, to the extent that you can LOVE a piece of music anyway :P) Being a sonata, i'd make sure that when the piano has the melody, accompany them and in the soft section between bars 71 through to 77, play as soft as you can. Otherwise, a performance well done!
I'm looking for a specific sonata. Though this is nice, I'm not sure this is it. I play much better when I've heard the song so I'd like to see if I can find it.
