I've seen them live and she sung live. Most of the performances I've found on youtube,however, there is too strong a presence of a pre-recording (to me, any at all is too much but even for other's standards). I saw her with Korn, so she probably knew we weren't going to abide that weak sh*t.

She needs a little vocal training, apart from the high head notes (which are, like, GORGEOUS), but is amazing anyway.

What?!! I did´t listen to this band (and this song) for years and now I find this! She's making playback!! I have listened 3 different versions of this song here in Youtube and all of them have the same vocal pre-recording ¬¬

@JohnFalocco trust me, she sings live, because for one, her performances are NEVER the same, they are all unique and beautiful, and if you listen closely you can tell it's not even the CD vocals (except for backup). Listen to this song during the Open Door era and you can definately tell she does sing this song live :)

@dadsbestchild Yes, but I was talking about a different vocal recording, not the studio CD vocal, do you understand? They used it in different concerts, I mean, the "professional way" to make playback. A lot of singers do the same... :S

This is not her best performance live of this song, it's full of imperfections and the breath is very marked (I find it awesome, but it's not her best). It's definitely live, she changes the way she sings every single time. Which are the other gigs you're talkin' about, anyway? Just post them here, so we can judge. :)

the lights were terrible for this song, i agree, they should of had the lights match the rhythm of the guitars like during the open door tour, but this was years ago

@dadsbestchild It was easily the best live show I had ever seen. Seriously. Amy prefers smaller venues, so there were maybe 5,000 folks there, and it was very intimate. She takes the time to talk with us between shows, joke a little, give us some insight into the songs. While we were there, her husband Josh was mingling with the crowd, passing out TWLOHA literature. She took some time to talk about that.

I left that concert really feeling like I knew her, like we all had connected with her.
