@unable2fail911 I make an 8 balls ring then pinch four angles to give it a square-like shape. Then I surround this with 12 balls and the basic square shape is done.
For some reason, mine bind more than yours and they fall apart more than yours, is it because I need to mess around with it more to get the poles aligned?
@TheEpicGuitarist Probably... Pay attention to not rotate them by the longitudinal ax too. Otherwise it will be more difficult (but still possible though)
Another great invention, awesome how those simple reinforced squares make a rigid cubic frame. I found that with that reinforced square I could make a small snub cube, with 9 ball triangles attached. The triangles tend to bend and curve a little so you don't quite get a true snub cube shape but it still looks kinda cool. At least Wiki have their geometry facts straight, I am learning a lot trying stuff out!
I always seek for cube modules and square shapes, since it's not the more stable symmetry working with spheres. I paricularly enjoyed this one because it's pretty solid and can easily be joint and pulled apart by others

But it's difficult to fold a single cubes line because lateral force resistance is lower than vertical one required to separate two half lines.
