And I looked, and behold a pale horse: and his name that sat on him was Death, and Hell followed with him. And power was given unto them over the fourth part of the earth, to kill with sword, and with hunger, and with death, and with the beasts of the earth.
People who freak out about Diablo need to get over it. I think it's powerful and beautiful. He protects travellers coming in and out of DIA. Sure he killed the artist. But think of it as one blood sacrifice for him to stand proudly on against the footsteps of the mountains and watch over us :)
@Due2Aids You mean "Blucifer"? LOL! I really don't care about it either ways, but it's of dubious taste to put such statues at an International Airport, one that wasn't even needed in the first place... so I guess it makes somewhat sense to fill DIA with all unnecessary NWO symbolism to drive conspiracy theorists insane :P After all we throw away so much money in US why not accessorize? I guess disseminating statues and references to Baphomet all over the place would have been too up front? ;P
@freakqnc Actually I call him Diablo for the DIA, it's suiting. It was an art comission, it's not like DIA paid Mr Jimenez and said "Give us an evil looking statue that will cause the uneducated to freak out over something so miniscule." It was left to him with little guidelines and installed as part of Denver's public art programs. Also, the death was unfortunate. Luis Jimenez's health was already failing and he did not secure the torso properly. Kind of Luis killed Luis- Nerdy art student >.>
@Due2Aids Hopefully that's all it is... unfounded conspiracies. Though there is some inexplicable and plain weirs sh!it going on at that airport... that's just a fact. What's behind those funky stuff it's anyone's guess. Let's hope it's all just for show and screw with people's minds ;P
i live 15min from DIA and i think this horse is so cool! i love how artistic the whole airport is!

That thing, and whatever inspired it, is evil.

@Hako2004 Well... it did fall on the sculptor that created it and killed him. I am sure that was an unfortunate incident though ;P
