  • I remember the Dirty 30s from my boyhood. The Dust Bowl wasn't the major problem it was the Great Depression that happened at the same time. My Parents sturggled, but survived. the worst time I remember about the Dirty 30s was Easter Sunday 1935. Thanks for sharing these memories to a Dust Bowl survivor.

  • @katiamagalhaes1 read the grapes of wrath by john steinbeck. most people left for california, but there were so many of them leaving that there wasn't enough work for them wherever they went.
