When I started as a PCF Jeff was a seasonal with the Del Rosa hotshots and a PCF/operator where I was stationed at Jeff and I went to many calls together and spent time out at a local bar having drinks and enjoying life. R.I.P. Jeff I am devastated at your untimely death
To whoever disliked this, You must not have a bit of love in your heart. After 13 yrs of fire/rescue, it hits home watching this knowing I have a wife and a 8 yr. old daughter I leave everytime I respond to a call, be it a medical call, accident or fire. Rest in peace Captain'
Terrifc video. I had the pleasrue of workkign wiht the AFD during their accreditation and met Jeff during that process. Outstanding individual as well as the entire department. My pr\ayers go out to his family and my brother firefighters.
I have watched memorial tribute video's in the past. Watching this particular one stirs even more emotion adding to the heaviness in my heart. Seeing my community, the familiar setting, and the faces of those I know is something I had hoped to never see in a tribute. My heart aches for the City of Asheville and our wonderful men and women at the AFD. To AFD, you are loved & in my prayers and so appreciated.
You have done a wonderful job creating this video. Thank you for sharing. -CAI
Who ever did this, I just want to say it is beautiful. I did not know him but I do know his wife. I honestly was more upset for her loss than I have been for family members. Her loss of her husband made me take a look at my own life with my spouse. We have discussed this tragedy and through this heartache comes a renewed love and devotion for him. You never know when your breath will be taken. Tell your loved ones every chance you get.
@hilaryidol Thank you! I love making videos but have never shared them with anyone other than immediate family. Jeff was such a special person though, I felt compelled to share this with those who knew and loved him like my family does.
@LK2212 To the person who made this video...you did an amazing job with this. I noticed that you said you loved making videos...would you be interested in making more emeergency service realted videos. If you are interested would you post a way that I could contact you.
