Hi, I'm trying to mount HoMM 2 millennium, but the autorun can't work properly and the setup won't start. Yeah I'm using WINE but it's supposed to be supported around 100%.

Do you think burning it to an CDRW would help, or is it a problem with the bin file?

Any help appreciated!

Lol thank you! I must have been away from Windows too long, for some reason the the front setup.exe wouldn't work but the one in the setup folder would. Maybe I can get the music now after all....

Damn that sux, because I found out I can install it, but HOMM2 can't see the virtual mount ;( It won't allow me to play...

I did some more checking and all the auto/directing between exe files inside seems to not work.

Wonder what could be different between the virtual and real mount.

@Nabo00o you have to go to wine config and add in the location and give it a drive letter like Drive D:

Alright. Thank you for spending so much time helping me.

I added the driver and got rid of the auto problems in the mount, but HoMM still didn't recognize it as a cd.

I checked the config one last time and the drive was on autodetect, i changed it to cd-room and now it works.

Well I have learned a lot this day ; )

Also, this is a fantastic GUI program, and thanks for pointing it out. I like to use the nautilus-mount-image script as well, for quick mounting. This would be great in case nautilus fails.

The loop option does not write it to fstab. The loop option simply means you're mounting it as a loop-device. (such as a CD/DVD)

It's called gnome-do. It's not just a dock. One of his more recent videos introduces it. Gnome-do is great!
