I think we get caught up judging others too much. Even other churches. Worship is between you and God. You don't need to worry about how Lakewood or Osteen or anyone for that matter worships God. You need to worship him yourself and concentrate on your own. If we did that with the hate shown to this church or others, the worship we individually give would be so much greater.

I'm sure that we've all heard of not judging in the bible..We are suppose to be going to church for worship and looking for God...Not man..so before a comment is passed like that you might need to reevaluate your walk with God. Lakewood is a great Church and is doing more than a lot of churches out here. Past Joel is an excellent teacher/encourager/ etc and nobody can judge him but God... Not you!!!

This notion that only God can judge us is error. Sure you can quote Matt 7:1, but lets not forget about 1 Cor 5:12. Best to keep everything within its proper perspective. The bible says that iron sharpens iron. How can we do that if we don't hold each other accountable. I'm not saying we should be critical, but CONSTRUCTIVE criticism is always healthy...if not comfortable.

Lakewood is reaching and exposing people to the Word of God -- differently, but the Word of God no less. The worship they have in that place is OFF THE CHAIN! We should keep this body encouraged and covered in prayer because the higher God takes you, the greater the tests and trails become. We HAVE Overcome (past & future) by the power of Jesus' name! Even though that could be 90 to 100% accurate, The Lakewood church must be doing something right.... That many people wanting to worship God together every week. It is a church that may not be for everyone, but it is undoubtedly spirited filled.

you're right, I love worshiping at Lakewood and I love how you can feel the Holy Spirit in that sanctuary manifesting itself. Its an awesome feeling and thats why i think most people continue to attend Lakewood, you just never for one second of the service feel like an outsider
