this makes NOOOOOOO sense the devil kills a friend and causes the death of god so he(the devil) would be negated... religion is truley for the retarded!!!!
This is sad because this is really how Satan works. He tries to completely destroy us by shoving our guilt into our faces. And that guilt does truly take over. I know it. It's affected my own life. Luckily Jesus allows us not to be consumed by our guilt. He offered us a way out of situations like this the moment those nails were driven into his hands. LOVE YA JESUS!!!!!
I personally think that it wasn't an illusion, but of the devil disposing of Judas once Judas served his purpose. That bite on his hand was no illusion and given that the Savior was about to be crucified for our sins, the spirits were all out in full force during that time.
@TheNuharoo Hmm, i have to disagree. Jesus going to the cross was something Satan definitely did not want. Judas' betrayal meant that Christ would die. The sacrifice of Christ sealed Satan's fate.
I know. What I meant is that even though good was going to win in the end (as it always does) and I kind of understand now that the Devil tormented Judas because of that betrayal. Instead of working on Jesus to renounce his destiny, maybe the Devil should have acted to convince Judas not to betray Jesus. To me, that would have been more clever.
@TheNuharoo but God already know that it was going to be Judas.the bible already declared that Judas was a greedy man, everyone know it,that's why he was used to betray jesus. the devil didn't have anything to do with it,this is hollywood, but judas was convicted by his sin.even jesus said it would have been better if he was never born.
@FightsRightsAlways I can't imagine being picked to betray someone. As you said it was part of God's plan and I wonder if in fact taht he ended up in heaven since he did play his part in our own salvation.
@TheNuharoo lol i think you misunderstand.judas is NOT in heaven,he's burning in hell as we speak, overall God knows what choices you and i will make at the end, good or bad,it doesn't matter.BUT he also presents us with the opportunity to do the right thing. judas was greedy and somewhat self centered, the pharisees were looking for someone to hand jesus over to them, and they were willing to pay.judas got money the he wanted but at the same time, lost his salvation.but it was HIS choice.
@FightsRightsAlways No, it was God's will that Judas ratted out Jimminy Cricket. How can you not understand that?? LITERALLY what happened was - and this will answer the other guy's question too - God cashed out on his original deal. He told Judas to rat out Jesus, but then at the last second he was all like "Woah, I didn't agree to this, you're crazy" He did the same thing to Cain and Abel. AND he did the same thing to Abraham.. I'm not even Christian and I know that this is the truth.
@bottleshopjoshwh what th-..okay maybe you need to read the bible again.of course God knew in the end that judas would betray jesus.heck! even jesus knew!! when he was cutting the bread he even give judas the chance to say/do something right because he knew.God didn't "cash out" he knew what was going to happen, but like always he gives us an opportunity to do what's right.in the end it was really jesus's choice.he could have called on God and he could have sent an army of angels to kill the-
@bottleshopjoshwh soldiers and save him.BUT if he did, then the minute we all died,we would have gone straight to hell.it was the blood of God that saved us all.that's why we all have the chance to choose what we want.God or not.but end the end it's YOUR choice.seriously, read the bible or really look things up.you DON'T know what your talking about.i don't know where you get your information and if it's the bible then you need someone to EXPLAIN it to you. because nothing you said is true.
@Staciegwen No. Judas has sold his soul to the devil. Thus, he is cast into a world of horrific illusion. At the end, he was driven mad which cause him to hang himself.
@Marciniakx5 i think it symbols the saying the lord is my shepherd i shall not want the dead lamb represents that he is a dead festering lamb that even the shepherd has denied and takes him for dead
Well Judas, that's what you get for snitchin', bro

Why would the Pharisees need Judas to identify someone who was already famous among the people and who himself had spoken with the priests?
