so basically the guy got shot (who knows why...) and as the person who shot him is walking away, he tries to take the girl but instead shoots her and kills her. (the girl thinks that her husband is dead) but it turns out that he wasn't dead because he "wakes up". well basically he's being nostalgic and is thinking of her. he suddenly can't bear it and runs back to where she died, and it turns out she's there. It was her ghost that came back to tell him goodbye :]]

Because if you look at the beginning the guy got shot on the right shoulder and when he fell it was in the snow, the ice slows down the bleeding, versus the girl, if you see she got shot more towards the left and is almost in the middle of her spine, thus it is assumed she got shot in the heart. or close to it enough that more bleeding, and combustion of a major artery or w/e she's dead. lol
