@flowerchildluna no. sonic cd and sonic satam appeared at the same time. besides before sally was a flicky animal. she wasn't even a girl! her or should i say his name was ricky the squirrel. amy was a blond girl named maddona and was even in a manga with him before she was in the games! and besides he doesn't run away from amy because he hates her. he rus away because he doesn't want her to get hurt or get kidnapped. and besides he shows signs in the games now that he cares about amy.

That original Modonna storyline didn't involve Sally or Amy, but it was passed over and easily forgotten, just like Sarah (OVA), Breezie (AoStH), Mina (Archie), et al.

no,satAM was released i think 3-5 days before CD,it's not much but it's still truth,Sally is the Original,and when she was a flicky she was still a girl,have you not read the Fleetway comics? Moddona was suppose to be sonic's girlfriend but she was scrapped,and if you REALLY wan't to be correct Amy was the girlfriend of a hedgehog named Nicky( i think) in the manga,and Nicky transformed into sonic,but then turned back and Amy never found out that Nicky was sonic
