Vo-coder... its used more than you think.. in alot of britany spears songs.. it basically corrects the pitch of your voice in to what ever key you want... sean kingston and t-pain use it alot too basically it can make any one sound like they can sing.. the only thing is that i belive they can actually sing due to the sustained vibrato in the voice but i can guarantee thats not there voice if you listen to lady you can hear there real voice along with the corrected voice
