KurtmanJP: Well in Taz-mania, Tazz is younger (kid age). In TTA, he's his adult self, teaching the next generation (Dizzy) how to be a good little devil. Then, he is again regressed, this time to complete infancy, in Baby Looney Tunes.
It's a double edged sword; One hand You inform and raise awareness but drive away those fans who want a good laugh after school and a half-hour disconnection from the real world.
Still no reason to ban the whole half-hour due to "One Beer".
This episode is awesome...serious...I never ever got to watch Tiny Toons 'cause I was born in '97, but if this is what cartoons are suppose to be then iCarly is the dumbest show in history, I'm sorry anyone of you all like iCarly, but cartoons like this are the most educational and funniest show a kid could watch.
@8hornshater Bill Cosby. The previous line from the TV is "Nooo... but Cosby's on next!" Babs' cadences are those of Bill Cosby when he was doing his "tell the audience kids what's what" segments on the _Fat Albert and the Cosby Kids_ show.
Sort of sends out mixed messages doesn't it? I mean, in order to learn the lesson in this show you have to watch TV, but it's telling you TV is not good for you...confusing much?
@xenshia: No. Actually, it is society overall. Society--particularly the media--has corporations thinking viewers are too cheap & shallow to care about quality. People like Disney, Henson, Rogers, & even some WB staff all believed that quality is best comprised of variety so that there's something for everyone and that the programs don't insult the intelligence of their audiences. Kids aren't stupid, but they pick up on what they see and hear--whether good or bad--and emulate such behavior.
That anthropomorphic devil TV at 2:20 was also, or was the inspiration for, one of the enemies in the Factory levels in Tiny Toon Adventures: Buster's Hidden Treasure.
Also Note That S.N.I.D.E., The Final Boss of BHT (Controlled By Monty), Was Seen in The Episode "C.L.I.D.E And Prejudice" Which Was Seen Just After This Episode and Just Before the Infamous "One Beer" Episode.
LOL at Babs's "I hate the way they drew me in that episode! I hate the way they drew me in this episode either." But hey, what can you say about Akom's animation on this show? ;)
And I suppose that Plucky episode with the turkish prison was an Akom-animated episode too
In My Opinion, Babs' Quote Would Have Been More Fitting For an Episode Animated By Kennedy Cartoons, Which Among Most TTA Fans is The Worst Animation Studio For TTA. Even Warner Bros. Thought So and Fired KC After The First Season.
In My Opinion, The Best KC Episodes (Despite Their Horrible Animation) Were "Hare Today Gone Tomorrow" and "Gang Busters".
I agree; it would've worked much better for a Kennedy Cartoons-animated episode. However, I LOVED Kennedy's animation in "Gang Busters" and "Best O' Plucky Duck Day," but others vary to me. I also loved Glen Kennedy's animation on "A Pup Named Scooby-Doo" (where the style fit).
BTW, after Kennedy Cartoons was fired from WB, they went on to work for Disney! :-O
This was banned because of the last cartoon in the episode, One Beer, which I uploaded. It's like One Beer messed it up for the first two cartoons i suppose.
Taz probably tries keeping Dizzy away from his friends back in Taz-Mania. After all, Taz is Dizzy's teacher and Taz has had many unfortunate experiences with Digeri, The Platypus Bros, Mr.Thickley and Wendell.
I've watched Taz-Mania before and Taz is a main character on that show and a teacher on this show. I'm trying to draw connections for potential crossovers.
@RayOfHope612 - "I see that alot of people here have been posting comments saying that they remember watching this cartoon, i myself don't remember watching it but look, if you're going to show alcohol on a kid's cartoon, then wouldn't it be a banned cartoon? of course it would. Anyway, i'm glad to see that my video is popular with so many views." - Captain Planet was a kids show, and it dealt with worser topics than just booze. Aids, cancer, overpopulation, nuclear armament, narcotics.
I bet Babs is referring to Kennedy Cartoons when she mentions how she hates the way she was animated in a particular episode.
