I used to switch back from playing to inverted to regular... but then I just figured I'd play with regular controls. I mean the decision to play inverted was pretty tough, still though playing inverted is like a natural feel for me... just that switching between the two would often leave me with necessary deaths to to make it easier I just chose the default standard... could still play inverted though, some of us are born with talent.

It's a real representation of the movement required to move about an associated axis. It should not be called inverted, It is the RIGHT way. Pushing forward on the analogue stick for an axis control should PITCH FORWARD not backwards. I'm not debating which way is better to play. What i AM debating is that for some reason the PROPER METHOD is the one they have called inverted. They are calling the correct method backwards and the incorrect method normal. WTF is this, I DON'T EVEN!

@starlessredbrush When I fly I HAVE to use inverted (real life) controls. But when I control a moving person I feel like I have better precision moving the reticule rather than pitching the body. That's why it's "inverted", because it's actually about which direction you're moving the reticule.

Inverted flight controls suck, though.

Why would anyone tilt the stick forward to go up? Standard aircraft have you pull back to go up, because in a high G turn, it's near impossible to extend one's arms forward.

I play with inverted Y-axis controls on everything including the camera controls in third person games, but I don't invert flight controls because they are already the way I like them and I think the reason for why I play inverted in the first place. I used to play flight games all the time when I was little so I dunno, maybe. All I know is that for some reason I've played that way ever since I was 7 when I used inverted aim and look controls in GoldenEye for the N64.
