Thanks a billion dude before i could literary turn on my PC, make a sandwich, eat it, and then wait about another 5 minutes before my laptop would even respond. it took literally 15 seconds from power button to internet. once again thanks a billion

PS. for memory problems delete your temporary folder, i had 7.65 gigs of shit even a hacker wouldn't recognize in there and i haven't noticed any problems since i did that about a month ago. again, THANKS!! :)

Ok I've done lots of msconfig tweaks, but after 2 years of wishing for faster booting I just found Britec09 channel. Two great things I've done are a Regedit Prefetcher tweak and another that makes windows use RAM for the Kernel (if 4 gig upwards) - Keep on truckin'

that might not be a good to uncheck alllll !!! you become vulnerable for more viruses to get into your computer if not that then. certain things will not work right because some people do not know what to check again once restarted.. the best thing you can do if ur having issues is flush it - transfer all your video photo and music to external hard drive open disc tray shut comp off, put windows disc in, push tray in manually shut, then hit power & start all over. ( thats the best )

Thanks Dave, I never knew how to use this "services" at msconfig. I only use the start up and it was amazing it works so fast I just did it right now. I notice the sudden change I hope it will last.

This is a quick and easy method, you can also use CCleaner to manage the startup items which seems to be more user friendly. : )

Windows 7 Beta was first made available legally on the Microsoft Website, but that's been closed now, Then they made available for download the RC version of Windows 7. Unfortunatly, it's no longer available for download at the Microsoft website, sorry.
