I don't know whether to got a Line 6 Spider IV 75 or a Peavey Vyper series 75. . . Ive played my friends Line 6 spider IV 30 and idk what to think about the sound, i guess you can say you can tell its not a tube amp. But from what I've been hearing, Vyper - Line 6. Im gunna try them both out this weekend, idk which one ill walk put with, but i guess ill have to see. P.S. theres no way im gunna get a Marshall.

@walt909 line 6 edit on line 6(dot)com look up line 6 monkey download it then update your amp with line 6 monkey and then download/update line 6 edit (you will need a foot board with a computer connection cable thingy you can get from a printer :P)

Got my Spider Jam75 a couple days back... The wicked piece of kit for anyone wanting to get better faster IMO. I love it. Been playing Acoustic for a couple of years, final got myself a 2011 Tele deluxe and Spider Jam what a combo. Nothing like being able to hear yourself back to get you better quick.

Was just in Sam Ash earlier to get a new guitar and amp. I was thinking about getting this, but instead I got a really great VOX. Much better and louder than this amp and smaller. But that's just me. I play blues rock and the guy recommended the VOX. I have a feeling if I bought the line 6, I wouldn't be as happy.

the spider isnt high end as a matter of fact it is the entry level amp from line 6. meaning it is the cheapest the line 6 makes. with that being said if you dont know what kind of sound you are looking for this is a good amp to play with to find your sound. then you can buy the amp you want.
