The words 'circle' and 'purpose' do not rhyme. Nor do 'chaotic' and 'stop it'. Emmy is by no means the only artist who does this. Is it really so difficult for singers and lyricists to write decent RHYMING lyrics? There. I said it. Bring it on.

Part of my problem is that I'm currently a paralegal. In a former life I was an engineer. I'm a musician and spent a couple of years studing musical theory and composition. I no longer just enjoy a song, I have to analyze and pick it apart. OCD? In my most idle moments I have OCD.
Well, there are academic definitions and then there are personal preferences. A lot of people think Picasso is good art. I don't like it at all. My idea of a good poet it Edgar Guest. Except for his infrequent daliances into free verse, his poems have perfect rhythmic prose and they rhyme. It's that which I find most appealing.
