  • @ChibiVamp232 is the Japanese girl's name something like Asami Shimoda? Coz that is the actual person who voices Len and Rin but the Vocaloids are just synthesized...sorry in advance if you knew that already...

  • Mom:Hey you wanna go shopping with me? Me:Sorry mom I gotta go jump 5 people who dislike kokoroxkiseki Mom:Oh have fun ^ ^

  • O.o it's like both songs are made for each other.

  • @ronelm2000

    ...they are.

  • @SuperOuranFangirl2 I should have noticed it by now +_+"

  • awesome.. <3 :D

  • i hate those 5 facking bastard of bullshit who dislike len and rin song!!

  • Me and my friend cosplay's Len and Rin and we tries to learn this song and we think about go out on the streets and sing it xD

    Anyway.... Awesome song owo

  • is there a better quality version of this?

  • @rachlouise3 What are you saying ..? It's good already ..

  • @YukikoChiharu Listening with headphones, everything is in mono. I was wondering if there is a HQ stereo version.

  • There are 1 thing I don't like about this song.. *sniff* It bring tears to my eyes everytime.. :'(

  • in his computer there's an error but actually evrythinng was fine in Rin's XD

  • @sofitssofi That's because the error came up because when she didn't have a "Heart" she couldn't understand it. Rin's is based on after she got the heart.

  • @darkraimac ahaaa

  • i dunno if anyone know this/or everyone knows it...but i found out something kewl!!when u download this song(mixed) then u use earphones, they sound different with each left and right earphones.Example:when u hear left earphone is Rin singing, but with right earphone is len singing

  • this song is so pretty but when i found out what they were singing i cried now i cant hear this song with out feeling sad :(

  • you know when i was first introduced 2 vocaloid, this was the first song I heard but I was real young and I thought it was just music piled 2gether that made no harmony. When I got older I understood the lyrics more. Also, (its been a few years since i watched Kokoro, Kiseki, and both) both music and pv 2gehter make more sense in my opinion, and if people really don't get it, "u" should look and understand the meaning of them and what both the robot and the scientist give and recieve at the end.

  • For some reason,if you forget to listen to this song for a while, after a month or so,you listen to it again, you're all

"HOLY *censored* WHY DIDN'T I LISTEN TO THIS SOONER?!"

(It's in general, because it happend to me three times.)

  • I never realized how well Len's video complements Rin's video. The way both screens are depicted really lets you see the different view points of the same story. The part that really got me was how they died at the same time, when they're separated by hundreds of years (Does that make sense?). That makes this seem almost happier because they can be together after death, almost like a miracle.

  • This song gets me every time. To a story so touching, EVEN A MAN MAY SHED TEARS!

  • @Tamakaiju *pat pat* Those who do not cry, do not see :)

  • Ah good, a mixed version. I tried mixing them myself, but they were not together by like a few milliseconds and it sounded funky as heck. So I am very happy.

You know, the funny thing is, in Kokoro Kiseki, if you listen really close, you can hear Rin singing Kokoro at some parts.

  • this song is cool

  • this is still awesome no matter how many times i watch and hear it

  • awesome

  • I think personally these might be the best vocaloid songs ever made. They fit perfectly with Rin and Len's voices, and the meaning of the song is one universal.

This duet brings new life into the songs and once again I am in amazement because this is what I consider a work of pure genius. Something, simple, catchy, and yet more complex than I'll probably understand.

  • For the people confused about his video, remember the three basic Vocaloid talents: Singing, Dancing, and ACTING. They're acting in most of their videos. Which is why Miku can get away with stabbing Kaito, Len can die for Rin, and they go to Wonderland and survive.

  • It's good to see that at least one person gets it.

  • Why is Len always dying for Rin? See the Daughter of Evil Series and see what I mean...

  • @agunimon60 i guess its a real-life reaction...the boy should protect the lady, and well yah =\

  • Because he loves her.

  • @agunimon60

Well he is the brother you know

  • its so sad and dramatic whenever len dies :) Its touching....

  • i just love how both songs sound together! i actually have kokoro, kokoro-kiseki, and this kokoro-kokoro-kiseki in my i-pod! i just love it!

  • Basically... Len is human and he was a sciencist who created Rin to keep him company and to give her the final program. Kororo. So that she could feel and experience life. However, just as he finishes it. He dies. Like years later. Rin decides to finally mess with it.. And she does in fact experience feelings and stuff. And she understands what Len had been talking about all along. He taught her things and stuff about feelings. In the end the Kororo mulfunctions She dies.

  • @DetectiveMitch

I don't think Kokoro malfunctions, I think what happens is she comes to understand everything that Len taught and told her, everything he did for her, the several hundred years of being alone she went through. Everything crashes down on her with Kokoro and the pain of her loss is so unbearably huge that she can't handle it, she dies of "a broken heart" so, Kokoro works just how it was supposed to... which is part of what makes it so sad to me :( maybe it worked too well...

  • @Themooniscrimson i think that the kokoro was just too much for her to handle her body just couldent handle it

  • this is great, i just don't like how in the beginning len overshadows rin and then it flips at the end -__-

  • so beautiful

  • I'm little confuse now :3

This is just so sad ;( *cry*

  • Oi, I thought they were both robots? It confuses me all. ;-;

Still love this. I like singing Rin's part but for some reason, because of her overly robotic sounds in the part, her "Why do you cry"(As seen in English translation) is... very hard to make out, only you can barely hear it which bothers me a bit. I like it better when Teto does it but I think that's just because Teto isn't the original singer.

But anyways, thank you for giving this out. I can practice both parts now. <33333

  • Awesome, but len kinda overshadows rin. I could barely hear her.

  • i love how the story is made out. Rin as the robot with no feelings til the end. and Len the creator. epic but awesome.

  • Well it's actually alot more complicated than that lol. It also involves time travel ^^

In Kokoro, Rin, after Len's death, opens the documents Len told her not to which gave her her feelings. Then she also goes back in time, transmitting the data to the Rin in the past (kokoro kiseki) so that for the briefest of moments Rin is overflowed with emotion and dies as Len is about to die... Or something like that <_<

  • RKEKGDFHG. I hate how it sounds LenxRin, but I love the songs seperately. x]

    Len is so beautiful. <333

    I wanna touch him, xD

  • this is epic! O_O

  • whoa.. seriously felt goosebumps XD

    I love this song 5/5

  • *sobs*

  • I made It trought Prisoner Once With out Crying ...Like stone (First Time I cried though)

  • Sad song T_T

  • It's...It's the best song ever T^T

  • *cries*

  • You kinda notice how most parts of their video mirror eachother

  • mebe cause they are both mirror reflections of each other

  • Because the two parts are just two videos of the separate videos, stuck into one. Kokoro is the song from Rin's POV, Kokoro // KISEKI is Len's POV of the same events. That's why they mirror.

  • how come when the twins are together one of them has to die or both of them has to die like in servant of evil and sigre these are their original songs but at least there's love <3

  • well they are mirrors

  • This makes it Twice More sadder!!! ......

  • and twice more cuter ^ ^;

  • I'm confused. Does that mean, the Rin from the future transfered the "kokoro" to the Rin in the past while the professor was still alive? Because some versions says that's true, but this version is kinda unclear for me. But Glider did an AMAZING job on the at! :D

  • WHO THINK RIN AND LEN ARE AWESOME RAISE YOUR HAND!!

    -raises hand-

  • ~*Raises both hands and everyone else's hands, too*~

  • @XoXoShiaXoXo :: ME!!!!!! *raises both hand and feet! XD*

  • @XoXoShiaXoXo

    MINE TOO!!!

  • Awh. Now I feel sad. D,:

But I do love this song. I love them seperately, and put together, it's just... nothing short of breath taking.

  • Thank you so much for sharing this.....thank you so so so so so much.

  • That makes me so sad! I love Ren and Lin, but so many of their songs make me cry! What is it with these people who write sad songs!?

    ;________;

  • BEcause sad touches the heart more then happy? :3 i bet you'll remember kokoro's storyline better then some of their happy ones

  • You're mistaken.

It is not sadness that touches our heart more than happiness, but the balance of both. Each one gives value and depth to the other.

Life ends, yes, but that is part of what makes us truly appreciate it and the joys we find within it. Likewise, those moments allow us to face the end without regrets.

This isn't a sad song, but a "bittersweet" one.

  • you're genius. o-o

  • Well if you dont like crying to sad songs, dont listen to them in the first place 8|

  • Hmm seeing most people are right handed and Rin's been pointed as being the eldest a lot of times that must indicate Rin is the original?

  • Well, I don't think her being right-handed has much to do with her origins... We don't even know if Len's left-handed. :P But yes, her character was announced before Len's was.

  • Nya I meant that when people stand in front of a mirror the original is right handed most of the times while the reflection mimics the movement but then being left handed (I'm not really all that clear , sorry, english isn't my first language -_-")

  • No, I understand what you mean, it's just that we don't know for sure.

  • yea those thoughts are just mine x3

Gomen nasai for acting as if it was the truth (how cocky)

  • well... in japan I bleieve it's more common for people to be left handed?

However, the handedness is a cool theory... as for whether or not them being "original", I believe both their voices were provided by the same person, a woman? Which would suggest rin to be the original as well

I just double checked wiki on the voice provider, and I remembered correctly about their voices being provided by the same woman.

  • Yes, you're correct. Their voices were both provided by Shimoda Asami.

  • Yes but I don't believe that has something to do with the original thing. I meant in the "vocaloid world" so just leaving aside that their voice is done by the same woman (they probably did this to implicate them being twins and mirror images). The announced them to be mirror images therefor one of them is original and the other isn't or is it so they're both original but reflections as well?

  • I checked wikipedia, and it's says that Len is a japanese male and Rin is a japanese Female........

  • It's spelt Len on the actual product box, people. Check any official images with their names on it. It's pronounced Ren, but that's because the Japanese don't have an actual "le" in their alphabet. "Re" in Japanese katakana is the equivalent of "le" in English. The guys telling you his name is Ren are only half correct. Crypton is making a pun with the names- Rin is Right, Len is Left. Are you telling me they wanted it to be right and reft? ._. Common sense. Use it.

  • Then it should be Lin and Len actually?

  • Comment removed

  • Then it'd be Light and Left.... ._.

The change of spelling on the romanized version of a katakana word is on a case by case basis. Confusing, yes, but usually the spelling is for a reason. For this case it's to satisfy the "right" and "left" pun. Yeah, I thought it was Ren at first, but then I did my research. :P

  • Lol I just noticed my mistake xD yeah indeed right and Left!

Kagamine ....mirror right? (like kagami from lucky star xD) anyways *coughs* ... they're mirror images ,right? Must mean their characters are the opposite ... hey do you think Len is left handed and Rin right handed? (just an example :P)

  • Yep, "Kagamine" means "mirror sound."

I never thought about their handedness. You may have a point there. :P

  • l love this song....

  • Love this song, but dont they always have such sad ones?

  • Watching this, it really is like seeing two hearts pulsating at the same pace, resonating within each other. These videos together are a masterpiece. Love the art and the harmonizing. Beautiful.

  • Wow... this is beautiful. <3

  • its not Ren it's Len right? Rin and Len! I'm sure! xO

  • I think it's spelled like Len but pronounced like Ren ;o

  • No-no it's Rin and Ren.

It's easier for people to say Rin and Len because of "L"eft and "R"ight.

  • no what Hitaki is saying is correct I have the case for the Kagamines and they spell Len: Len

  • Yes I know that but Ren and Len are the same.

レ can be read as Re or Le depending weather you pronounce it with your throat or your tongue.

    Same goes for ココロ

ロ can be pronounced as Ro or Lo.

When you think left and right you automatically think L and R respectively and when you're young and just learning the difference between the two, You look at your hands to remind yourself that your left index and thumb finger make an L shape.

It's just easier for people to say Rin and Len.

  • it is

  • ...what's up with people calling Len Ren?

  • Japanese's L is R. So technically, it's Rin and Ren.

Though if you like calling him Len, that's perfectly fine too.

  • hm... that makes sense.

  • i hate deaths. first, in the story of evil, it was len. then rin in meltdown. now it's both of them. o o

  • Could please provide a link to download the songs like this? It's so pretty...

  • Wait, so Len entrusted Rin with the key to the miracle, but Rin died?

    D:

  • Nyu~ Rin died because the Kokoro was too much for her handle.

  • No... Rin died because kokoro was too much only from the first song,

Then, somehow, the future Rin sent the Kokoro to the one in the past ( The 2nd Song's Rin). This 2nd Song rin did not die, and was completed with the Kokoro.

The first song's rin was different bcause the scientist never got to see the completed version, or so thats how it is.

  • i'm confused... O_O

    could you explain that again??

  • How can i explain it in simpler terms..

Okay, there are 2 songs, the first is Rin 1, the 2nd is Rin 2. Rin 1 has been living for over hundreds of years alone after the scientist died and finally found the Kokoro, the part where the CPU glowed and she touched it. But it was too much for her to handle, in an alternate timeline which is Rin 2's one. She received a signal from Rin 1, which contained the kokoro. Len died after seeing she had finally achieved it.

  • Differences:

    Song 1:

    1) Rin died after finally achieving kokoro after 100 years ++

    2) Len never seen Rin achieve kokoro

    Song 2:

    1) Rin receive a message from Rin from song one and achieved kokoro

    2) Len died happily after knowing Rin achieved kokoro

Kokoro is the heart. I wrote an entire description on another song on several comments.Check ti out tho i dont remember which one... its a combined song vid... Cant believe one month past so fast...

  • yup. i'm afraid so

  • i love how people create awesome and meaningful storylines with vocaloids, like this and servant of evil. kokoro and the servant of evil remain my two favourite vocaloid songs (:

(for some reason, they are both rin and len? lol?)

  • I agree with you x3 Those songs are meh favorite too <33

  • me too really love these two songs

    and the twins=]

  • Oh! these two songs are beautiful togeter.

  • WOHOOO AWESOME!!! GREAT SONG!!! happy face->:D

  • well yes but Reaxsan said that

"Meiko, Kaito, Len, Rin they were the second vocaloid versions."

and yes i know that Miku is first of the second generations thats why i put her first

    "miku, len and rin"

  • I'm so tottaly gonna fandub this song, All I need is to find a Rin, anyone wana help? x3

  • I need a Ren for something like this, so I may be willing to volunteer! I want to make a fandub as a gift for my mom, since she also appreciates this song. :)

    So, sign me up!

  • I'm willing to be a Ren. I can duplicate his tone rather easily.

  • We'll see about it. :)

  • I was just thinking something like this. ;D

  • fandub with human voices?

If so, I can help you with Rin~

  • i want! x3

  • Excellent! The combination of the two songs was perfect! They sounded so great together!

  • Could you by any chance upload Both of them separately? I find it hard to follow/sing along with Len's part. If you could, thank you much. :3

  • I CANT DOWNLOAD THIS! x/

it sais im forbin to be on that.?

  • Cute is a better word.

Guys crying isn't 'cute' or 'kawaii'

Kokoro is my favorite song by the vocaloids Rin and Ren(Len)

  • the story basically: Len is trying to make a robot that could feel like a human, using 'kokoro' which is a 'heart'. apparently, he spent all his life, and is frustrated that the kokoro program isn't working properly. until rin, the robot in making, recieved a messege from her future self, and that itself was a miracle, since it meant that the kokoro had worked breifly. Len died of old age, since it was his life's work, and Rin's kokoro was too big, and she broke down, never moving again.

  • this is pretty interesting. What's the name of the original song.

  • has anybody ever wondered about the meaning of their names. Miku could mean mic. Lens could be the lens in cameras or rend. Rin could mean Lin => link :p. lol sorry for my imagination.

  • hehe nice imagination but they do give you the reasons why they named the characters what they named them... you can look it up on wikipedia or google it...

  • Hatsu means first. Ne means sound. Miku means future. Kagami means mirror. Rin and Len are puns for right and left.

  • well, Len,and Rin basically means left and right. Miku.. Hatsune is something similar to 'first sound' since she was the first vocaloid. Miku is a pretty common nickname sometimes XD

  • I thought Meiko was the first Vocaloid, Kaito was second, and because Miku was a Vocaloid2, she was the third, making the twins the 4th and 5th..? :B

  • no Miku was the first. Meiko, Kaito, Len, Rin they were the second vocaloid versions. i'm not a vocaloid pro but i know that Miku is first

  • actually meiko and kaito were part of the first generations of vocaloids and miku, len and rin were part of the second generations

    so miku wasnt the first

  • Miku was the first of the vocaloid character album series. that is why there is a 01 and the twins are the 2nd and 3rd of the seires. Meiko was the first female vocaloid and kaito was the first male

  • yup! but miku, len and rin, are vocaloid 2, and in their left or right arm, on the shoulder, there is the num of them, miku=01, len=02-a and rin=02-b

  • It's hard to read both at the same time. very cute and sad songs, both of them

  • its been a month since i last listened to this song and it really has a awesome meaning and everytime i listen to it its like my own sadness has been affected to this one. only in a different way. Really sad. I will support this song no matter what.

  • do u know how to download a video from niconico? is it possible ( iheard it was i dunno) if u do can u pls pm me the directions? if u don't it's alright

  • it's so cool how it was put together and was sung in unison. the story kinda matches too.

  • What's wrong with guys crying? Are they not allowed to express their feelings like everybody else? And please don't say "ITS SO KAWAII" like the word "kawaii" is part of the English language. It's either English or Japanese, please don't make it a mutation of both.

The song is very sad and touching. I don't think you would exactly call it cute. And yes, many people do know what the word "kawaii" means, since it's the most commonly used Japanese word by Americans...

  • Right said, xYukii. =D I think the song is more bittersweet then it is 'kawaii'/cute.

  • rofl, the 'kawaii' comment in your post cracked me up for some reason cus its so true XD

its weird how they just combine kawaii with english.. kinda sounds.. weird in a way. XD

  • I always enjoy a giant crying lol

  • Im a guy and still this song made me cry

  • YAY :D!!i was looking for a video like this ^___^.this is my favorite vocaloid song.

  • this song gets me emotional.. ;_;

  • this video always makes me cry ;-;

  • my god, the beauty and tragedy of this vid made me cry T_T

  • um, the part about Rin...It was supposed to be "kept singing" instead of "kept running"

  • this is soo sad and beautiful at the same time!! T-T they died... waaaaaaaii~!!

  • Both didn't die ren ( i guees if that his name) died to keep her live

  • actually Len/Ren died till he grew old i think it was a heart attack and Rin malfunctioned after singing the song and knowing about her true purpose of being created...

  • Um, the title's "Kokoro"....

  • Kokoro is Len's song. Kokoro + Kiseki is Rin's song. This is both songs combined in perfect sync with one another. Hence the title being "Kokoro and Kokoro+Kiseki".

  • no,Kokoro is Rin's song.Kokoro Kiseki is Len's song.

  • bangin!

  • I didn't get it. Who died?

  • They both died

  • Ohh.. okay. So.. the scientist died.. and Rin went back to her slumber.. amiryt?

  • No she passed away too, long past the scientist died, when Rin herself gained 'Kokoro' and sang for the first and last time

  • The 'Kokoro' was too big for her. She broke down and was never to move again.

  • cool! :D

  • do you know how i can get this song?

like... a cd or somewhere online?

    how did u get it?

  • There isn't really real version on this song I think... It's mix of TORABORUTA's KOKORO and Jyun's KOKORO KISEKI made by anonymous fan so for this version I guess we just have to rip it out of video... Original video URL is in INFO but you need to sign up in Japanese to use that site.

  • I'm just asking...

Why is there a Len version? Because I found the translation of Rin's ver. & it makes me wonder what the Len one is saying & why it was made.

  • I'm planning to upload KOKORO/KISEKI(Len version) video upload in a week but you could search Youtube by ココロキセキ if you want to hear it before that^^

Len version was made by KOKORO(Rin version) fan as response/answer song.

  • Oh really? NOw that's interesting...I thought that it might be the professor's view or something like that.

I love the song & I love Len altogether anyways <3

  • Yeah Len ver. is the professor's view. And it was also made by fan as response to the original song.^^

    (I think I made reply but I guess somehow my post didn't work again...excuse me X( )
