Because the narration was in English instead of French...
I wonder why Vincent wasn't used for the Mansions at DL and WDW in the first place?

@fivebearrugs A few reasons.
Because Paul Frees had already worked for Disney (as Professor Ludwig Von Drake) and was one of the top voice actors of his day (he was Boris Badenov after all).
