if 2200 is the overclocked benchmark for the G2 just imagine it on the Tmobile G2X

(lG OPtimus 2x) or the motorola atrix, or other 4G/ DualCore phones

Running the same setup, baconbits and such my phone got 2565 on quadrant.. don't know what's up with his. 2300 has been the lowest so far although he says the battery life hasn't been affected, it has. I run at 800mhz to 1ghz still unless i'm playing a psx game. My battery life dropped from about 18+ hours moderate-heavy use down to about 10 hours of the same use. Wasn't a b ig deal before with temp root but the new undervoltage doesn't seem to be as efficient.

PLEASE mention that Quadrant, aside from the graphics part, is NOT representative for the actual speed. Snapdragon based processors get WAY higher processor scores than stuff like the Hummingbird without being THAT much faster, lagfixed Galaxy S's get unfairly high scores in I/O, CM6.1 Galaxy S seems to score a huge amount of points in h.264 decoding.

What matters is the actual speed when using the phone. Not some vague numbers. They're like megapixels.

Joe, My Captivate scores 2300 on Quadrant running 2.1 Eclair, rooted, with just One Click Lag Fix, no over clock on the 1 mghz hummingbird.

Actually, most android phones will score higher on a second quadrant test, when performed directly after the first one, which probably accounted for the difference between the profiles, because theoretically the performance profile should score better.
