I just watched this movie and I i gotta say, the acting sucked. It felt like i was watching samurais trying to be steppe warriors. I know it was a japanese film, but there was just TOO many japanese customs in the movie.

actually recent dna suggests that the maternal line of  yakuts were originally tungusic, only the paternal line was turkic, they were dominated by turkic tribes from the south and they adopted the language. There are no shared dna with yakuts and other turkic people.
