I watched this episode on HULU a view days ago. Very cool story with guest stars Pilar Seurat, George Takei and Bert Freed. A blend of Cold War era espionage and science fiction, and even a little sexual tension between the intrepid Captain Lee Crane and the beautiful Moana.

@Aquaman1054 The episode also has some classic examples of how tight Irwin Allen was with an episode's budget. In the episode, which is good story, there are several scenes that don't match up with previous ones, and they never reshot the scenes. In a couple of cases, at least one that I could spot, the film is "flipped" to make a diver appear to be approaching from the front of the flying sub.

@gfpirate Yes, it's fun watch scenes like that. I got a lkick out of the divers carrying their underwater lights while swimming to the Flying Sub, but not having them when they arrive. VTTBOTS is one of my favorite series from the 60's and my favorite among Irwin Allen's shows.

@Aquaman1054 It's also my favorite of all his shows. It was particularly good during the first season (black and white) and it seemed to me the better episodes were the ones that involved espionage or spy-related plot lines, like this one.

@lotrfrodo27 Hi, (I use to be "Splitskirts" - I had to change due to my pc crashing) the only way is to buy the DVD set which I got from Amazon. However this is really the only scene in which you see this lovely lady in a wetsuit; after this she changes into loose green pants and shirt to go on land. Regards.

Seems that almost all my favorite 1960's shows (and many others) had Miss Seurat as a guest star at some point: Hitchcock, Fugitive, Wild Wild West, but somehow I forgot about this Voyage appearance. Too sad she met an early demise by not taking care of that beautiful body. Pronounced PeeLAR SooROT (not a Filipino name nor her real name). Glad you posted this.

Seurat was, I believe, appeared in a number of 1960s shows, especially ones that called for an actress to play an Asian or Hispanic character. She also appeared in I Spy and Star Trek as well.

She was. Sadly, she succumbed to lung cancer in 2001. 2002's eight legged freaks (one of my sons favorite movies) was dedicated to her by Dean.
