epic! I´ve been listening metal since the late eighties, I´ve just discovered this guy syu I think he´s already a big one in this gendre. It has great melodycs, speed, is heavy when it needs and armonic too. His solos fit perfectly here and also in galneryus and he has a great metal and also clean voice! Respects to SYU!!!

@eveningninja really? to me it sounds otherwise? cuz around 0:34 that in that part the top string sound low and loose and it sorta figureed it out on Db and also the breakdown at around 2:21 sounds really low and it looks like hes bar-ing the top three strings which is usually done in drop tunings and finally when he starts singin at around 0:59 he picks the top string open and it sounds like Db to me

It IS in Eb, why don't you just match it with an Eb on any instrument, like perhaps your guitar? Not that difficult to do. And at 2:21 he is not barring. He's playing/sliding power chords in standard Eb tuning, fingering the tonic with his index finger and 5th with his pinky.

It's the exact same ESP Edwards Explorer (blatant Gibson ripoff) Syu used for the first galneryus albums. It's also the guitar he uses as a backup. This guitar was mostly used before he got his ESP EX and then the Crying Star. It's also the main guitar he uses in Aushvitz.

I'd say Alexi is great, much better vocals then Syu but then again Alexi probably has a voice which is much more raw, because you really don't see Alexi doing non growls and melodies vocal wise.

Alexi doesn't have more diversity then Syu, you don't see Alexi in a Death Metal band AND a Power Metal band. Alexi writes good stuff, but I'd say that Syu writes better stuff. Although everyone has their own opinion.

...Are you shitting me? Alexi's singing sucks ass no matter what he's doing. His voice is "raw" because he's a terrible singer. His growls lack definition. Compare him to someone like, say, Mikael Stanne and he just sounds like shit. Alexi is an amazing guitarist, but put it this way: He's a guitarist who does vocals, not a vocalist who plays guitar. The only reason he sings for Bodom is because it's good enough for what the band needs, that and nothing more.
