I love the classic Westwood sound effects. I recognize the wind sounds from Lands of Lore II.

Lands of Lore II sound effects were even used in Half Life 2.

i loose buildings all the time

tip:

destroy their heavy factory, ordos palace and construction yard so they cant make more sabators or however you spell it (star port you can destroy to)

I keep dying in this mission. How do we prevent the saboteurs from blowing up all your buildings? (are there any detector units?)

Just build a complete wall around your construction yard - everything else can be replaced if lost. Make sure you have at least three refineries and at least 8 harvesters; you can then build tanks, rocket turrets and quads pretty much constantly. When you have a decent army, scout the map (without attacking the base) and figure out where the enemies are harvesting. Destroy all their harvesters and any replacements (retreat to your base when they send their army). Then attack!

Long live to fighters! Yes that's a good tactic to split up the enemy alliance by attacking her weaker part. But as for me I would stay on Harkonnen and let the Emperor join the weaker forces. No matter though but did you notice that only Ordos despite being my favorite House does'nt seem to use this tactic? They let Atreides and Harkonnen join each other, and in the final mission you have to defeat three houses for Emperor is aiding them too. Maybe their mentat's failure:-)

i thought you had to fight all 3 houses at the end anyways no matter what side you pick. its always you vs the two others plus the stupid emperor.

its kinda dumb though because when you are atreides you get the fremens help and when you are ordos you get help from the mercs (shame the allied ai sucks though :D) but the harkonnen have to fight everyone :(

If I remember correctly, really only Ordos have to fight 3 houses at the end? Correct if I'm wrong:-) Atreides and Harkonnen in their battle progress focus on the Ordos and clear them out in mission 8. Then they turn on their remaining enemy and the Emperor
