I was just wondering. I recently bricked my at&t captivate because I used the odin one click fix when my batch number was 1100 something? Josh IS the man! I bricked my captivate over a week ago and sent it in to get resurrected from the dead. The service was fast and Josh kept a continuous open line of communication with me when answering questions that I had about shipping and the whole unbrick process. Josh is the man!!! I bricked my Captivate to the black screen of death and the phone no longer turned on. I was about to chuck it into the lake, but luckily I found his services He resurrected my phone for 50 bucks! The best part he will upgrade your firmware if you are afraid to brick your phone. If you have a semi-brick there is ways around it, but if you are fully bricked (doesn't turn on) then you need Josh to revive your phone or just throw it into the river. THANK YOU JOSH!!!

Josh is the real deal. Completely bricked my phone a week ago; had no lights or screen, and the phone was useless. These guys are really great! I bricked my captivate with a bad Odin flash, and they saved my butt! I shipped my phone out with USPS on a Tuesday and received it back from them on that Saturday! I've been comtemplating using your service to get my captivate unbricked. I'm able to get it back into download mode but by using this method: Remove battery and sim card, what up to 10 seconds than replace the battery. Next, hold both the volume buttons and the power button while inserting the data cable. Download mode comes right up.

The problem now is that odin won't go beyond the initialization. Do you think your JTAG service will fix this?

@srinivas7127 You can try to watch my IMEI restoration video and see if there is a .bak copy of it to restore. Unfortunately, there is no way to rebuild an IMEI on a Galaxy S at this time.

A couple weeks ago I did a stupid move when trying to use Odin3 to put a new ROM on and hard bricked my phone. I sent it to Josh to JTAG and put Serendipity VII on it. He was able to do it even with my phone having water damage too. He offers a great services at a great prices and very professional to work with. I mailed him my phone Friday evening & got it back on Thursday morning. I highly recommend him although hopefully you don't have to use his debricking services! :)

With my phone it's stuck on the AT&T world phone screen. I tried to get it download mode but couldn't. Is it soft bricked or do I just have to continue trying? Btw could I get serendipity VII and get my phone unbricked at the same time?

@ACEDXIII Hi Ace, you are technically soft bricked. However, I've seen soft brick situations require JTAG as they would not enter download mode with any known methods. Despite people always trying to deny it, a soft brick can sometimes be as worthless as a hard brick but it's very rare. You can absolutely add the upgrade at the time of JTAG service.

@ACEDXIII That's what I did (but my phone was hard bricked). I had Josh put Serendipity VII as well as JTAG. Love having my phone back in running condition, plus I'm loving Serendipity VII. Probably just want to make sure with Josh that he puts on Build #2 and Kernel #3 when putting S VII on.

@ACEDXIII I just "donated" the amount from the right side of website & put services in info but that is because we had been e-mailing back & forth about what cost for services I needed so he was expecting my "donation" and then he e-mailed me information to send the phone. But I would suggest just buying the two services from the website (unless Josh says otherwise) and then he will e-mail you address for you to mail it to him. I think PayPal is safe. Hope that helps.

I hard-bricked my captivate using the 3-button odin fix (I guess I didn't read the instructions carefully enough), and it was just a black screen. Nothing I used would turn it on like the jig or all possible button combinations to get it into download mode. I sent it in less than a week ago to MobileTechVideos and got it back today in perfect working condition! Not to mention great customer service, I had great feedback from him and he answered all of my questions instantly.

@burnedcriminal I can repair this using JTAG. I'd recommend re-installing the drivers once more, trying multiple USB ports and if possible, multiple computers. If that still doesn't work, I can still fix it.
