I respect his skill but It's not so much to do with courage , It's to do more with what your priorities are. He obviously puts skating first above everything and thats just the way he Is.I can't judge that but at the same time a lot of people aren't going to risk other things they hold more dearly and even their own life for a stunt.

Bob Burnquist is not a skater... he's a stuntman, a dare-devil who just happens to have chosen a skateboard as the launching tool for stunts that require much more than a skateboard to execute without being executed, For example, he could have as easily chosen a motorbike, but he still really needed a parachute to exit the cannon without dying.  In this video, Bob is a base jumper and every other component- no doubt due to and donated by Dad- simply aided the stunt.
