  • lmao wtf ;PPP

  • looks pretty cool when its done safetly. i want to try this.

  • never seen this, when ii did the "ice" course i drove on some roads with oil on them

  • why am i laughing so hard

  • I have driven the very first skidcar, a solid blue 1988 Volvo 740 GL with automatic transmission. It was probably in 1989 on the Torslanda airfield in Gothenburg, Sweden. As I remember, the height of the car could be adjusted during the drive for increased or decreased tire grip. Great fun!

  • that sucks, in america all you do is drive around the block and park a few times :)

  • Thats kinda like having a fwd car, putting mcdonalds trays under the rear wheels, and pulling the ebrake.

  • that looks like a lot of fun,

  • Handles just like a SHOPPING TROLLEY...PMSL!

  • lolfail.

Is it really that hard to drive in a low traction environment?

  • hahahahah....now i dont need to get rid of my FWD..... lol

  • This is used i sweden when u take ur drivers test, its ment to simulate driving on ICE...

  • wow in sweaden they let u drive while ur on ice sweet

  • I'd say it's the case anywhere, where real winter is longer than a few days a year

  • To my knowledge, the United States uses a skid car in Drivers Ed.

  • @choidj

I didnt have to use one in drivers ed, but that was over 10 years ago in Florida which has the lowest standards and no ice.

Drove one hooked to a cavalier in defensive driving school when i was trying to work as a courier for the govt. pretty fun

  • @Anarchylegend what!? is this the old way or something? took my license 2 years ago and we drove on a big wet test road and you just slide everywhere exactly like driving during the winter. don't know if they have these ice driving roads everywhere but I did it in Malmö

  • @Anarchylegend,

It would be fun to use a skidcar during driver´s education, but in here Sweden we usually use water soaked special asphalt to simulate slippery winter driving (halkkörning).

  • lol made for those who cant drift lol

  • HAHAHHA true
