People who came from such simple beginings. With such big hearts and now look what man is capable of. Like war they get caught up in the escalation and hunger of more and more power and violence. Like mad dogs. Humans have little to be proud of and this is another fine example. although not easy I'd be moving to the country asap.

Both beautiful and haunting in the simplest ways. In just seven minutes the filmmaker introduces a national trajedy with epidemic proportions, confronts a president who is in denial about the severity of the problem, and gives a face and name to represent the victims at a funeral. I felt chills watching the sunflowers being laid down on the grave site. The filmmaker is concious of statistics, storytelling, and quality filmmaking. I can't wait to see what comes from this.
