i worked as rc body guard in the 80's before going on to dio rc was wendys toy band and they where great and in this vid the two g- players are chris and amir. this was a great band and david was one of the greatest drumers of all time that never got his do. i'm almost 60 now and still love this band. RIP RJD I love you all. BIG DAVE
Kick ass tune! It sucks that some of the early demo gems (like 'Try' and 'Queen of Seduction') were cut in favor of those 2 crappy covers Warner Bros. probably forced on the band in order to have a sure fire radio single.

Rough Cutt was THE band that was going to take over the rock world. Great vocals, great songs, everything working together. Amazingly that didn't happen. I think they could have been legends with their sound.

I've heard 2 Rough Cutt songs with Jake E. Lee, "A Little Kindness" and "Used And Abused". From what I've heard, Jake briefly rehearsed with the band Dio after that, though I've heard conflicted reports on the exact extent of those rehearsals.
@TheGringo300 Jake was indeed the original guitar player in Dio. They were only a trio at first - Ronnie sang and played bass before they got Jimmy in the band. Jake then got the Ozzy gig after Lynch was kicked out because he had short hair and no image. Jimmy Bain then suggested Vivian Campbell in place of Jake. Viv's band Sweet Savage had opened up for Jimmy's previous band Wild Horses in Ireland.
@TheGringo300 I have Los Angeles radio 94.7 KMET METAL shop shows from 1984 where it all began that feature Rough Cutt on some of them. E-bay - Search KMET Jim Ladd. I found a box full of tapes that I taped back in the day. Excellent quality. Check it out.
Haven't seen this answer until now. Shortino isn't dead. He lives in Las Vegas I think. DuBrow passed away about a year ago may he RIP Kenny Hillery(earlier guitarist or basist in Quiet Riot) and Randy Rhoads passed away(first QR guitarist and QR founder) while touring with Ozzy Osbourne.

The point is to do a good work covers or not doesn't matter It's the quality not quantity that counts. Just let it go. Rough Cutt was a great band I love them and I know that I'm not the only one and alla of these muscians are great Love Paul Shortino. He's great hope he joins Quiet Riot now when Kevin DuBrow's dead.
