i admit at first i din expect this movie to be good at all...but after watched it today i was like OMG!! This movie is AWESOME! plus the actors that starred in this movie are really talented(especially the gorgeous shruti, really talented,Gotta LOve her!), the director is amazing, editting is fantastic, the scene was convincing, oh damn this movie is STUNNING!!!!!!!
I know that friend,but as far as I know, only 7aam arivu's tamil version got released in few places like mumbai,delhi...etc.so it looks strange to me that 7aam dubbed in hindi and released there....!

3 of my relatives who are studying in KL just pinged me on FB and said they tried to go for Velayudham today but couldn't get tickets and then went for 7-Aum Arivu. They had completely disappointed watching 7-aum arivu but said they really want watch Velayudham, as their friends who have already seen, are raving about the movie. They will try to watch it this tuesday or wednesday provided tickets are available.

Why the hell director of this movie copied DNA concept from Assasin Creed, i watched this movie yesterday in theatre, THIS WAS WORST MOVIE OF THIS YEAR so far. Director has to be blamed for his confusion over the presentation having had a good concept. The funny thing is, Surya who acts for money preaching us all tamilian at the end, hahahaha Are we Tamilians that fool? Wasted my 200 bucks ! Dont watch this movie guys.

The movie completely disappointed me.. Poor-Script. Dead slow screenplay, But i quite liked the Bodhidarman episodes..donglee the villain was brilliant. But, overall a below average movie..skip it better.
I'm looking forward to watching this movie. I'm also Tamil and I lived in a city in Japan for some years where they have a shrine for the Bodhidharma. In fact, he is a symbol for the city and is found in many parts of the Japanese culture. I was surprised to learn he was a Tamil man. I hope my friends in Japan can see this movie too. I know they will find it amusing at the least. :)
I'm tamil, but I happened to see Chadni Chowk to China, and it looks a lot like that, only a bit more serious and cooler. Although, the fight scenes in Chadni Chowk was pretty cool too.
Science concept/not, Hollywood will make a better version/not, do we have the requisite tech/not..who the hell cares, as long as the movie makes sense and is watchable, I'm watchin it...

Guys this movie hasn't got any relation to the game "Assasin's creed".... The character bhodhidharman was an indian.... He fund zen bhuddhism and found shaolin kung fu... Basically what it means it we can activate hidden characters of our grandfather or someone, if that DNA is present in us. That's the reason some people are born with monkey tail or sharp teeth. @thiyagi Its easy to explain. Using a scientific technology as concept of the movie doesn't make it any inferior. Several hollywood movies have adapted Gene technology, cloning and gene induction as its concept. The director uses one such technology and I am proud that an Indian director is using some such technology thats never seen before in Indian cinema. Even scientific research accepts the use of technology in various fronts. So lets accept it & wait to see how this tech works in the movie.
@hvesarn: Yeah, we people are used to these stuffs by now...The highlight of Assassin's Creed Game is its storyline for all of its series, At least Murgadass should have mentioned it in public about the adaptation of the plot, so we would have never been doing this conversation in the first place.

Why the hell director of this movie copied DNA concept from Assasin Creed, i watched this movie yesterday in theatre, THIS WAS WORST MOVIE OF THIS YEAR so far. Director has to be blamed for his confusion over the presentation having had a good concept. The funny thing is, Surya who acts for money preaching us all tamilian at the end, hahahaha Are we Tamilians that fool? Wasted my 200 bucks ! Dont watch this movie guys.

The movie completely disappointed me.. Poor-Script. Dead slow screenplay, But i quite liked the Bodhidarman episodes..donglee the villain was brilliant. But, overall a below average movie..skip it better.

I'm looking forward to watching this movie. I'm also Tamil and I lived in a city in Japan for some years where they have a shrine for the Bodhidharma. In fact, he is a symbol for the city and is found in many parts of the Japanese culture. I was surprised to learn he was a Tamil man. I hope my friends in Japan can see this movie too. I know they will find it amusing at the least. :)

Wow. HOLD ON. See people, there is a scientific term known as "atavism activation". you probably never heard this term because its only biologist like me knows. I am telling you, the trend has changed very rapdily. A movie like paruthiveeran or pasanga wouldn't have been a hit had it been taken long before. But our audience are accepting these kinda movies now. That itself is a sign that our movies taste is getting better apart from "mass hero" concept.

@thiyagi Its easy to explain. Using a scientific technology as concept of the movie doesn't make it any inferior. Several hollywood movies have adapted Gene technology, cloning and gene induction as its concept. The director uses one such technology and I am proud that an Indian director is using some such technology thats never seen before in Indian cinema. Even scientific research accepts the use of technology in various fronts. So lets accept it & wait to see how this tech works in the movie.

@Ak140106 Dude, i love Maniratnam, Bharathiraja, Balu Mahendra, Balachander, Fazil. These directors gave dignity and pride to Tamil Cinema. But directors like Shankar, A.R.Murugadoss, A.L.Vijay are all disgrace to Tamil cinema. They just spoil our Tamil film industry by copying or stealing others' works. 7aum arivu mixed of MI:2 + Outbreak + video game "Assassins Creed" but ARM shamelessly told that his own story. Bodhidharman's reputation was spoiled by thief dog ARM.

@33Sibi Did anyone said to you that it was a typical copy from AC? Even 'Endhiran' was a shameless copy from 'Bicentennial Man', 'Terminator' etc, but it was presented so as to match Tamil people's likings and moods. But here, the DNA linkage and stuff clearly resembles AC. Even I'm eager to know what 'Operation Red' is and the whole movie, like you and others.
I admire Suriya in many movies, so don't boast around like you're the biggest Suriya fan in the universe.
