This must be from the 1986-7 season, with the set change and the audio being changed over to stereo.
Kato bears a striking resemblance to Tom Cruise here (even has the same glasses Cruise would likely wear)

I may be in the minority here, but I think that the later seasons of Puttin on the Hits (1986-88) are the best, IMO as opposed to the earlier ones.
